Well, one can correct the aspect ratio of stretched or squashed videos even after uploading them onto youtube: watch?v=MFPcAIM8fB0 (or if you don't like the guy in this video, simply search for "aspect ratio fix"). However, sometimes this doesn't work properly...

The funny thing is, that some people are not able to recognize even such obvious things (such as yourself) and I always wondered why it is so.
