Film is King!

With all the backflips and scissor-kicks that are being done to emulate film. The question still remains....why not just shoot film?

yeah, but I think someone people go overboard on the whole shallow depth of field = film look.

Since Gregg Toland went to such lengths to create deep focus in "Citizen Kane". Basically, what video cameras do naturally.

He would have killed to have that capability right out of the box.

But then...most people would kill to have one ounce of Toland's vision and talent.

I don't know what my point is, except that movies come in all shapes and forms.

The M2 is nice. But the camera work is weird.

There´s no meaning. Even in a test there should be e message, like "This is what a focus pull between two distant objekts looks like". But the camera is just moving around in a very uncertain way.

That´s kind of sad
