I like Listening To Quran recited by Sheickh Al luhaidan.
it does remind me on how far I'm still to reach a state of the Believers, I used to listen to music long time ago, I Ask Allah let me give away listening to Music because I want to be close to you.
And Guess what, As I trusted that. And i say that with intention of wanting it to happen, and knowing Allah will help. And Alhamdlelah did it.
proud 2b MUSLIM.
May Allah give you Jannat brother & keeps u Strong on his deen.
you brought up very good thing, As most of of U'olma (Muslim Salaf Scholars) mentioning That As long you don't take a letter out or changing a letter by another. you are Ok. And a person should read Qura'n with good voice, and if a voice was very bad he should work on it till reach a good level so care for that skill. As you know our Souls like the nice tune in reading, what better than to invest a good voice for the sake of Allah Reading his own word's.
Keep in mind, Love the Quran because it's Allah word's, and not because of someone Recitation, maybe the way he's reading it will get you to cry or emotional That's will be good make's your relation humble with Allah. try listening to different Reciter's, And if you like some one voice or way to recite hopes that will help you in getting your recitation better & closer to Allah. Lastly don't attach your heart to certain Reciter, May Allah give you and me guidance.
@Abdullah2009 Ibn Taymiyah said: the kind of tune which the scholars regard as makrooh for reciting Qur’aan in is that which involves shortening long letters, lengthening short letters, giving a vowel to a silent letter, or making a vowelled letter silent, in order to make it fit the rules of music. If that also involves changing the way the Qur’an should be recited and elongating the vowels, then this is haraam.
Muhammad Luhaidan's tajweed is correct and therefore not haram. Allahu'Alem
@stronglegproductionz Salaamu 3alaikum, this is completely different from what I meant. I am not talking about the tajweed. The way he recites is like singing. It's like do re mi fa so etc. In a single vowel he'll sometimes use more than 6 different tone heights, low, then high, then higher, then lower, then higher etc. This is not correct. There are 3ulama who have warned against this. Please refer to: islamqa . info/en/ref/1377/taghanni
@Abdullah2009 “and recite the Qur'an in slow, measured rhythmic tones.” (Qur'an 73:4) "He is not of us, he who doesn't recite the Qur'an in a melodious voice." (Sahih Bukhari) "Beautify the Qur'an with your voices” (Sunan Abu Dawud)
@stronglegproductionz There are boundaries and it isn't unconditional. If this isn't like singing, then please tell me, what is? What would make it singing?
@Abdullah2009 It would be singing if he didn't recite to the rules of tajweed. It's the rules of tajweed which decide the length and sound of each letter and hence give a rhythm (ie: the recitation), Luhaidan follows these rules and therefore his recitation is not haram. "He is not of us, he who doesn't recite the Qur'an in a melodious voice." (Sahih Bukhari). There is no restriction to how much emotion you're allowed to show with your voice as long as it remains within the laws of tajweed.
@stronglegproductionz Salaamu 3alaykum brothers, can you please read islamqa . com/en/ref/1377/seeking%20knowledge and then come back. BarakAllaahu feek.
Defining the meaning of making the voice melodious (taghanni)
(a) I say: there is no dispute concerning the validity of the fatwa of Imaam Maalik which is based on the hadeeth of the Signs of the Hour, with its various isnaads, and which states that it is not permitted to recite with a musical tune and following the rules of music in a manner that goes beyond the limits of recitation and correct pronunciation, and does not befit the dignity of the Qur’aan.
you do need to learn Arabic, to know how should every word pronounced, Also learn AlQida Alnawraniya As it will give you a solid state on how not to mistake pronouncing letter's In Qura'n and you will see there's letter's In Qura'n you have to make them long. After that you have to go deep in the 7 Reading's for Quran, each one of them totally are different on the way of reading Quran. Also Study Tajweed. Allah A3lu'm.
