@andrea22213 I can´t tell you. Duffy has an unique voice like nobody else in pop business. She is a great character not the natural beauty but that is the thing which makes her such interesting. We love this kind of music in Germany and we hope to hear much more from her.

Amazing what can happen in a couple of years! Duffy's debut album trounced Adele's debut album all over the world (although to be fair Adele did run off with 2 Grammys). Fast forward 2 years and Adele's follow up album has sold more in one day (69,000) than Duffy's second album sold in its first week. I have absolutely no idea what the record company were thinking releasing this is the lead single. Madness.

I agree...this single bombed, selling around 4000, which is really embarrassing for her.

I have read that the album has also fared little better, and by all accounts, she is taking a long break from music. It might be just me, but her voice is sounding more and more like she's been sucking in helium.

She is far from being a one hit wonder, but I feel that "Mercy" will be her crowning glory, and somehow, I can't ever see her surpassing that hit record.

I like her, but in some songs her voice just rubs me the wrong way. It kind of sounds like she had a stuffed nose, and she can't seem to stick to one note. Sometimes I think it works well, and sometimes I think that it doesn't work so well. But it's all just my opinion. I think this might be my favourite off her new album.
