@SuperCuber92 longest shot ever is 551 yards by mike dobbyn. after that is 515 by mike austin. long drive competitors routinely hit the ball over 400 yards (look up jason zuback, jamie sadlowski) if you look at the driving stats from the pga tour on their website it shows each players longest drive of the season and the top players are usually around 390-400 for their longest drive of the year.

@elnocho3 the guys that i was referencing were long drive champs, jamie sadlowski has hit a ball 434 yards on a flat fairway with negligible wind. the rules of long drive competition require them to hit onto a level fairway, i believe its 50 meters wide. also i'd guarantee that on a day with no wind and a completely level fairway guys like bubba watson and dustin johnson can hit it over 340 with ease, they usually don't because they are playing with course management in mind

It's on his left side during the swing at 0:38 but on his right side at 1:03. They probably did this when editing to make the video flow better since the ball is seen going from left to right, it'd be weird for him to be cheering at the ball towards the left side of the screen "away" from where he hit it.
