@kaitlinmroberts1029 No, cutting off part of the genitals does NOT protect against STD's. Babies are not at risk of such things and if an individual wishes to cut part of their own penis or vulva of when they are a consenting adult hopefully they have been fully informed of the risks. Children need protection from such quackery.
@Johnnie23457 It is not "normal" to mutilate the genitals of children. While it may seem normal to one who has been subjected to this genial abuse and is surrounded by others similarly affected, 80% of the world's men are intact, bearers for a whole penis, with mobile protective and erogenous skin as nature intended. The US rates indicate that the majority of American boys today are being protected from genital mutilation.
How DARE the hospital say there were no complications. A boy was disfigured, robbed of a full sexual experience forever and ever in this one life he gets.
Foreskin feels REALLY good. HIS body, HIS decision.
BTW, I fully expect my comments to be deleted from your (and every other anti circers) pages. I know the agenda has no room for dissention (or dialogue). And why bother since there are the same same-minded commentors who will fawn over you & themselves with self righteous & self congratulatory praise?
@ordinaryphenom As irritating and ignorant as your many comments are I'd rather leave them showing. They present a record of your circumfetish nastiness.
Such a depressing, but critically important story - May justice be served against this hospital for allowing an aggravated sexual assault to happen on an innocent, dependent child without consent.
WHY is this practice happening in our hospitals when medical organizations around the world are CLEAR - this practice is not recommended!
This child is now at a monumentally higher risk of developing meatal stenosis, among other conditions.
All though this is very sad and I hope the family sued... it does help protect against STDs....

What is the problem? So the kid will be normal. Circumcision should be automatic and not need parents permission.

@ordinaryphenom All healthy and sane mothers try to protect their children, that's what being a mother is all about.
Many parents unwittingly become involved in issues when an injustice is committed against their child.
Face reality ordinaryphenom, you have a long reputation here as a circumfetish troll.
