Does anybody know the name of the man who wore a Valkerie helmet, shook a fake snake in his hand and wore a Groucho nose and mustache? He won the act of the week the FIRST week of the show. Jamie Farr was one of the judges. He got THREE 10s on the first day, then THREE again on Friday. Then he returned weeks later and Anson Williams gonged him. Actually, the 70s were absolutely filthy. There were a wide number of NATIONAL ad campaigns that carried sexual innuendos - such as a commercial for a razor which had the slogan: "Get Stroked in the Morning!". And of course, the pinnacle of the times was the 1978 film, "Pretty Baby," wherein Brooke Shields (then age 12) was given the role of a child-whore who was fully naked in the flick.
