Maple Treeway is my favorite stage and I realized that it hates me. I race in a cup, and this would be the only stage where my opponents pull out their bag of tricks.

They don't do it anywhere else? They do it everywhere for me.

Lol! I race with Dry Bones in the Bullet Bike, so everyone else just ram me off the track a lot. I was real good at this game... But now I suck. And for the other tracks they don't pull out their bag of trick, I just loose on my own behalf.

Oh, I get it. I often get stuck having to be near aggressive drivers, the kind who use a Mushroom not to get ahead but to ram people with.

The CPU play just as dirty as humans on this one. That's what makes it challeging to me.

Where in the game does it say about hidden character stats? I was wondering if Daisy is the fastest, since I main her...

It doesn't say it anywhere in the game. It's a somewhat hidden game mechanic. People have definitely proven its existence though.

Try selecting a character of a certain weight class and put him or her into a vehicle. Take a very close look at the stats. Then, go back and choost a different character from the same weight class and put them in the same vehicle. The stats will be slightly different. This difference is most visible comparing Baby Mario's Weight to a second-row lightweight.

Yeh I know the feeling. Sometimes, you also get the rub of the green so I think it evens itself out if you play alot. My VR is currently 8600 but it's gone as low as 7200 in a day :(

My "rub of the green" seems to get stolen by other people, as I never seem to get it. Once I get singled out by the other players, they'll continue to hound me and make sure I don't get a good spot.

Maple Treeway on fire? I guess it's because of the bright reds and oranges. It sometimes resembled fire for me on videos put up on YouTube, but never in the games themselves.

I wish I could stop caring about my VR so much because you're right, Overhazard. I've beaten someone with a score of 9999 before, and I've lost to someone with a score in the 4000s.

Wiggler is so pleasant. I never realized it until now. It kind of makes me feel bad that Mario jumps on it so much in his adventures and upsets it.

Anyway, how crumby about that blue shell. You made up a lot of ground near the end though. I think that mega mushroom is what did it, but you still raced well.

Yeah, I hope that I'd be able to bounce back from this. I did learn from this experience, however, that VR is not really that important and that from now on, I shouldn't be too concerned about it.

I mean...I could go toe to toe with people whose VR is 2000 or more higher than mine, and likewise, people whose VR are far lower than mine can overtake me like a pro.

Yeah, I hate it when you get over 7000 VS points, and then when you get 3rd or 4th you lose ALOT of points. Hey do you think we can race one day? Hope we run into each other or something xP.
