I never understood why people say Sektor is so good,I used him as my main when the game came out i did decent but have not used him since, he seemed too slow and limited for high level play not a top tier character at all.I never see him in tournaments either.Not trying to be a douche but is there something i missed about this character?

@TheLK4D4 I think it comes down to the player and your style. Watch someone like Red Reaper play and you`ll see sektor`s power. I think Sektor`s ability to get 40% from a jumpkick is very significant. The super fast recovery of his poke strings into immediate low pressure or heavy damaging overhead. Anti-zoning with EX Teleport, and mindgames with the homing missile. He`s a fantastic balanced character far and close. But like many characters, he needs the right player to use him.

Really awesome I always wanted to play him (since seeing the very first MK9 demo with Sektor performing a stage fatality on Reptile at e3) but I could never figure him out/find decent guides for beginners.

Can't wait to practise in the lab this weekend.

(Also I agree with the guy on TYM saying you should do Sheeva)

Yeah that was the idea. I feel the Sektor players already have the deep levels of the character understood. I just wanted it all presented together for anyone who wanted to learn, or to have something for the sektor players to enjoy seeing. Glad you liked it.

@UnderTheMayo Hey man, I main sektor and I found this very useful. I'm completely new to fighter games, mk9 is my first I've taken seriously. While I can do the high damage combo's, I suck at the footsie and pressure. The end of this vid is exactly what I needed
