I am a big Adele fan but I am very disappointed in this cover. Her tuning is off and her timing a bit strange. She also sings it a bit devoid of the soul that this song deserves. Can't compare to Bonnie or George Michael's version. They pour their hearts into it. Hopefully this is a rare off day for Adele.

bon iver and adele have nothing but admiration for each other. bon iver does well with translating sadness and defeat and naturally, their cover is better is in a better direction. adele is great with songs about being hurt and bitter, thus rolling in the deep cannot be done by anyone else.

@moyah88 At the time of this concert, she had just gotten over laryngitis. Her doctor had literally told her the day before that she would be able to sing for the festival. It's quite noticeable in some of the songs (Set Fire to the Rain is VERY flat at the start), but I think she did well after having an illness like laryngitis.
