@davidoliver2009 Thanks! To be honest, I didn't expect much interest in this video, so thank you for watching it! I uploaded it as a resource for me as much as anyone else. I didn't know anything about lantern maintenance when I recorded this (I was 15) so I just used common sense and lots of guesswork! We found a shedload of these plus some patt. 123's like you in our gantry. My guess is they hadn't been used for 10-20 years. The mirror difference (I think) is because this is a Mk. 2.
@davidoliver2009 Sorry comments just aren't long enough! This is part 2! This is a Mk. 1 actually because it has no shutters in front of the Gobo chamber. We have about 7 of each plus about 10 Patt. 123's. Because of our low budget (School...) We have to make do with what we have so it was brilliant to find all these lanterns just lying about. The only outgoings now are for Gel's, Gobo's and Bulbs, which is pretty good going. Oh, and we've transfered from analogue to DMX too! Good times :)
