i think the bristish power in combat is right about correct cuz anyone in that era knew that figting the bristish in open field is suicide and Denmark actully had a bigger nation then russia or us becuz or well that was in the viking era they had all of scandinaven (norway and sweden) they had part of england (York) and Greenland and most germany and little of poland
the brits were powerful without a doubt, but the line infantry cannot be better than the prussian line infantry, prussian had the best army in the world

As i myself is danish and live and breath danish history i know all u can search google or call a danish professor/teacher and they can tell that vikings was alot of tribes who rules Scandinavia which later on became split and became Norway Denmark Sweden but! Sweden was under direct control under Denmark until they became independent.
And somewhat the same with norway and with the German lands were later sold from a idiot of a king of ours lol and then WWII came and we lost more.

And Sweden had 200 years of independence before the Kalmar Union. And the union was weak and fragile whit swedish nobels still controlled the country.

And Stockholms bloodbath were a attempt to remove swedish nobles from power but it lead to open warfare. To get all fact clear :) The Kalmar Union was an Union between Denmark Norway and Sweden (13971523). After that an union between Denmark and Norway came (15361814) and at least, Denmark was forced to give Norway to Sweden because of its defeat by Napoleon. In 1814 till 1905 Norway and Sweden were an Union.
Just one fact was a bit wrong. Denmark wasn't defeated by Napoleon. Denmark was united with Napoleon, when he died and France lost the war Denmark had nothing they could say about anything and Sweden demanded to have Norway as an award for winning the war.
No Norway was never controlled by sweden never. Norway was under Danish control. And when things started to look bad for my Country Denmark we gave up norway to save our troops since we got backstabbed by Prussia and suddenly we were without allys and had to many enemies. Cause Napoleon was dead. And Austrian empire couldnt help us cause they had thier own buisness to take care about. So we simply gave Norway thier own country so they could have thier own and we could save soldiers.
btw, Norway may be a independent nation, but when u conquer it from the "nordmennene" is it then possible to play as them in "campagain" if u have completed the campagain u conquerd it on?:P
Let them "rebel" you...then u leave "Christiania" put your troops in a region not far from there, and then after the "rebels" have taken control of "Norway" it will come a message saying:
"a new nation have raised" or whate it stands, understand?

@Kirillarmas11 ur tottaly right, they had such a huge commercial empire and army, but i was even more surprised too see my country just like you, Malta is never seen in any game, except age of empires 3 (but the history is literally destroyed there). in ETW, you can see the knights of St. John not exactly Malta, but thats because thankfully history was respected :D.

Even if you cant play the other fractions you can just opean it up on hack it and get all of theme:DI did that on medievel 2 total war,i got papal states,rebels,and evry other country

It's not because I'm portuguese, but in these times we were a very important faction. Much more than Spain.. Don't know why Spain is available and Portugal's not. We were huge.We had brasil, Goa, Moçambique, Angola, Macau etc.

But the game takes place in 1700's, wasn't portugal more of in the 1500's and 1600's i mean it still is an important imperial faction, and Spain is in there because Spain had a fantastic military and navy, im not spanish or portugese, so correct me if i am wrong, i am just happy lithuania is in the game :D
why when people says that portugal was 60 years under spanish domain think that was part of it,portugal was always considered an independent faction the problem was that shared the same king of spain,thats why the name of the king changes when became King Phillip I of Portugal and II of Spain,this shows that the king was the same but not the administration or language.
they are both in the game but you can't play as them, you cant even play as them in custom battle, you cant even fight them in custom battle, you can only fight them on grand campaign, greece doesnt appear unless greece revolts
ya, prussia basically is germany, and you could say the same about the austrian empire, but if you join a revolution, or start a revolution prussia could become germany!
Catlalonia right? Yea they were around until 1714 until the fall of barcelona, well i thnk they should be able to add, especially since they added daghestan, and since Ireland can revolt, might as well add Catalonia
most cavalry sucks at this game, the winged-hussars, hackapelitias, cossacks....they all basically blew, as said before, empires dissapoints me, its still a good game though

Another thing i found dissapointing was the lack of soldiers and basically anything in the east....it was all France and England. Spain was boring, Prussia, known for its kickass military had nothing special, Sweden and Russia OMG sry, but they were the worst!!! United Provinces was pretty boring, poland-lithuania had the winged hussars but not the way the real hussars were, though austria was more interesting.... so basicaly france britain america and austria
personally i found this game, empires way to easy, i played it on hard, and yet again i rule everything. I played as the polish-lithuanian commonwealth, and i masacred Sweden first, then France, Austria, All of the German States, Ottoman Empire, Britain, united provinces and Russia and Spain and Denmark are my bitches.... i see no challenge in this game..... sry if i offended anybody but thats my opinion

WRONG FLAG OF UNITED PROVINCES its a strange name, though.
It shoud be Republic of the Seven United Netherlands. And the colors shoud have Orange White Blue.
History lesson:
Republic of the Seven United Netherlands came first with an orange white blue. in 1581 till 1795
- Then came Batavian Republic, cuz the French took it. in 1795 till 1815
- After that it changed a bit, and became The Netherlands 1815 till now

@Kirillarmas11 ur tottaly right, they had such a huge commercial empire and army, but i was even more surprised too see my country just like you, Malta is never seen in any game, except age of empires 3 (but the history is literally destroyed there). in ETW, you can see the knights of St. John not exactly Malta, but thats because thankfully history was respected :D.

Even if you cant play the other fractions you can just opean it up on hack it and get all of theme:DI did that on medievel 2 total war,i got papal states,rebels,and evry other country

I honestly don't know why Portugal isn't available.
It's not because I'm portuguese, but in these times we were a very important faction. Much more than Spain.. Don't know why Spain is available and Portugal's not. We were huge.We had brasil, Goa, Moçambique, Angola, Macau etc.

But the game takes place in 1700's, wasn't portugal more of in the 1500's and 1600's i mean it still is an important imperial faction, and Spain is in there because Spain had a fantastic military and navy, im not spanish or portugese, so correct me if i am wrong, i am just happy lithuania is in the game :D

why when people says that portugal was 60 years under spanish domain think that was part of it,portugal was always considered an independent faction the problem was that shared the same king of spain,thats why the name of the king changes when became King Phillip I of Portugal and II of Spain,this shows that the king was the same but not the administration or language.

they are both in the game but you can't play as them, you cant even play as them in custom battle, you cant even fight them in custom battle, you can only fight them on grand campaign, greece doesnt appear unless greece revolts

in game the biggest empire is ottoman empire.. u are controlling 12 regions..but teghnology is low and u have a lot of enemy..

If there ever will be a hebrew/jewish faction, it will either be somwhere from 1947-modern
or somewhere like 3000b.c.

Another thing i found dissapointing was the lack of soldiers and basically anything in the east....it was all France and England. Spain was boring, Prussia, known for its kickass military had nothing special, Sweden and Russia OMG sry, but they were the worst!!! United Provinces was pretty boring, poland-lithuania had the winged hussars but not the way the real hussars were, though austria was more interesting.... so basicaly france britain america and austria

personally i found this game, empires way to easy, i played it on hard, and yet again i rule everything. I played as the polish-lithuanian commonwealth, and i masacred Sweden first, then France, Austria, All of the German States, Ottoman Empire, Britain, united provinces and Russia and Spain and Denmark are my bitches.... i see no challenge in this game..... sry if i offended anybody but thats my opinion
