Giselle Jackson can really, really sing! She has a great set of pipes for sure! I heard her do a set at Body & Soul (when it was at 6 Hubert St)... her rendition of 'My Funny Valentine' was magnificent! Also the crowd was there to dance but was totally receptive to whatever she was singing!!!
I played bongos on this and sung it as well. I also served lunch to the backing singers, and advised the mix engineer on his mortgage. Whilst we are at it, I pointed the pianist in the right direction for a cure for his anal warts, and the guitarist needed a tip for the 4.30 at Newmarket.
