  • Yes it was 1955/56 when rock and roll was officially a trademark for the most popular music to ever hit the airwaves. There was this thing with A Blackboard Jungle and it was Elvis that finally hit a home-rin for what was to be called rock and roll.....mind you there was still some leftovers from was thegood time music that was played prior to this new type of music that was aimed at the teenagers and young at heart. One such leftover i'll never forget was Green Door by Jim Lowe. thx

  • Heavens to Bill Haley! What an outstanding example of 50's British rock! THANKS so much for posting this....it really swings and rocks! What an extremely talented group! You've MADE my day & my weekend! :-)

  • You should try and get to see the RAF Squadronaires play live . Still upholding the great name and playing as well as ever.

  • You mean that these guys performed music like this while dressed in military uniforms?

Hmm...difficult to imagine. Although, once in the 1980s, I encountered a military rock group playing LOUD at a shopping center, and was semi-astounded to see them in uniform.

  • i had a copy of this song 20 years ago, from bmxs dad
