As much as I love RPGs, I can't help but feel that Madoka would best be served as a danmaku game. Either a Touhou clone or not. Still going to watch the rest of the vids on this though o3o

@Oathblivion i think it wold work as some sort of open world where you go looking for witches and then you enter their barrier which might or might not be randomly generated dungeon. i would say gameplay would be zelda or similar action with a fallout kind of open world and story. for non rpg option danmaku game wouldn't work as they're not flying. maybe a platformer or fighting game hybrid or something like what we are seeing right now

Just wondering, but where did you get those sprites? The Anthonies, as well as the Charlotte and doll in the other video of yours look identical to the sprites used in a fanmade Japanese Madoka Magica sidescroller. I'm hoping you didn't just take the sprites without permission.

Well it's just a place holder until our own spriter do our sprites. Madoka was made by us though.

When and where can I download this? Also what I want to see in this game: Homura ... the experienced one including time stopping abilities. Maybe you can also add some kind of storyline and of course boss battles against the witches.

When is depending on how fast our spriter can sprite. All character will be included, branching storyline and witch battle. I dunno if we were do a megaman like system where you can gain skills off witches to use to other witches or zelda style where you get tools for puzzles, prolly both ^^;
