Thats a nice spot your filming from, the trouble with the viewing area is the damn chain link fence.

There are 3 areas I used that day.

The forest entrance. Best light in the morning but a lot of traffic noise and on this day very windy which pushes me about a lot on top of my fence countermeasure ( platform on top of my pickup ).

Through the fence from the road behind the runway. Slightly less noise and the lorries don't pass in front of you and you can use the fence to steady the camera but panning is out.

Lastly the private road near the viewing area. Best light in afternoon
