I don't mean to seem rude, but to me, this was too ... heavy. You leaned too much on the keys, and there was no rhythm or flow from one note to the next. You may want to work on that, I know it's probably hard to hear when you're playing to yourself, but maybe get someone else to listen to you and give you their feedback so you can improve.

When you hear yourself play this I bet you hear something beautiful. Since music is an auditory art form may I suggest you listen to virtuoso's perform the music you want to play. You must train your ears before you train your fingers. Listen to legato. I only mean this as constructive criticism, I think you really appreciate beautiful music listen before you play. Peace

Thanks trapperbt for your advice, I appreciate it. There is too much pedal in this performance, i recognised that, I use the pedal as a way of compensating for the immediate (and unrealistic) dampening/(note cut off) of a digital (hardware) piano. Unfortuantely using the line out and the compression of the yt format means the pedal down/(string ringing) is too prominent, but i take responsibilty for the outcome and will work on improving : )

Don't use so much the pedal! It hasn't to be played legato all the time! I would play it more cantabile and rubato, if you know what i mean. Try out!

wow that was really good! but i was wondering, is the song really supposed to be played THAT slow? i mean not that it sounds bad or anything but i also play this on the piano and my teacher taught me to play it at a much faster tempo so if im playing it wrong, please tell me becuase i love this song!!

Thanks Avexstar, I think tempo is a personal choice (so too rubato etc), therefore what YOU like should be your guide especially with romantic and impressionist music where the emotion is much more important than the tempo.
