In religious matters (except few ones), Allama Javed Ghamidi sb's understanding is stupendous and extraordinary. in the matter of Tarawish prayer, he has given the right opinion and in the most effective manner. May ALLAH guide him and us all to the straight path.

As An Ahmadi I agree with him. Hazrat Umar did the right thing.
There are only 11 rakah in Tahajud (8+3). We Ahmadi do that because Ahadith says that Aan Hazrat (saw) mostly permormed 11 Rakkah in Tahajud. We do the same for Tarawih which is form of Tahajud. It does not mean that those who do more R wrong. But our Aim is to immitate the Best of the Best Human (saw) this what Mirza Sahib Told us. We try our best to avoid any Biddat in Islam, which is a complete religion.

I don't know y people modified Islam instead of following what Prophet used to do in his life.Islam came so that people could try n understand what Prophet did n what Quran says.But people started changing it from the day Prophet left.unbelievable.

As An Ahmadi I agree with him. Hazrat Umar did the right thing.
