  • Awsome

  • If and when they do a movie about Waylon, who should play him? Shooter is one obvious choice, but who else? Throw some ideas out folks.

    - sounds crazy, I know but Jim Carey could pull it off.

    Any other ideas ?

  • WAYLON FOREVER!!!!

This video makes my hairs stand up on end. Here's to the best country singer ever, Waylon Jennings.

  • Put warmth in my soul ! GOD bless WAYLON and lead his son SHOOTER to the top of the charts . Sing SHOOTER sing for us all and your daddy.

  • I found this song on walmart downloads. Great work of art!! I would like to see more of Waylon's music on that site. I buy alot of music there and would like to see more albums available. Long Live Waylon!!

  • The last time I saw Waylon in concert was in Sept 2000. The next year the weekend Waylon was here I had free tickets for the Inaugural NASCAR race in Kansas City and went there instead. I would sure like to go back and have a redo for that one. I thought he was going to Max's in Kansas City the next weekend but I couldn't find the place. I thought he would be in Hinkley again in Sept 2002, so I figured I would see him then.

  • That would be Max's Kansas City Steakhouse in New York City. It was one of the very first places Waylon's NYC manager booked him and the Waylors into after Waylon got full control of his music around 1973. It is a club more associated with Andy Warhol, Velvet Underground and The Talking Heads. Waylon took the stage that night and said, "We're gonna play some country music tonight. I hope you like it. But if you don't, keep quiet 'cause we will kick your ass!"

  • I guess that is why I couldn't find it in Kansas City, MO.

  • I remember the first time I heard Waylon on the radio. I was in my early teens and the song was Good Hearted Woman. It was the beginning of a life time of truly enjoying the music he made. I liked him also because he had a rough but controlled voice unlike the wimps that are singing country today. Rascal flats for example, they sound like a female group in my opinion. The music of today has passed me up. I am perfectly content listening to Waylon from here on out!

  • This is haunting...

  • Cool stuff "TennesseeWolf"! I sure miss your Daddy and Johnny. But you've got some kick ass music buddy, keep it up! CMT & GAC need to play more of your stuff. Later man...

    JohnnyReb {North Carolina}

  • Sounds like some of the words to "Don't Y'all Think This Outlaw Bit's Done Got Out Of Hand?"I don't know for sure.

  • No, its a different song

  • yea it's the same song, its on the cd that came out in 08

  • anyone know the name of the song waylon is singing?

  • what does it mean..."waylon returns 2008"?

  • They need to make a movie about Waylon Jennings like they did about Johnny Cash.

  • Well done. Trying to keep Waylon and his music alive is a very worthwhile project. No one really holds a candle to him. I just hope that in his next or afterlife that he takes better care of his body...the cigarettes and the drugs sure caught up with him. He left us way too soon.

  • why don't you get off your pedestal and stop your preachin' you piece of shit. What the fuck do you know??

  • I'm sorry ma'am. I have since checked out your youtube page and you DO know what the f you're talking about. Shit, I'm sorry. I was totally disrespectful.

All I was sayin' was that people who live one way or another should be respected just as much as anybody else and if it takes your life then so be it! I just hate prohibition in all its many forms.

    Forgive and forget Ms. Claire.

    ~PEACE~
