Heres the thing about Lindsay though. Amidst her being sold to a VERY young demographic she suddenly decided to be viewed as provocative and did so while STILL carrying the weight of the youngsters she was technically still marketing herself to because they were her main fanbase. She was ungraceful about her crossover. That stigma attached itself to the landscape of her career and one could say shes never really redeemed herself. But to some thats an appeal all its own.
