  • this was in the movie though...guess they deleted it when it came to DVD and Blue-Ray.

  • This wasnt a deleted scene...

  • @bootysweat44 it's just extended, as it's shown in the beginning

  • The ending truly pissed me off in this film. No firebird. No emotion. No X-Men vs. Dark Phoenix. Only if Bryan Singer didn't waste his time on that godawful Superman Returns then maybe we would've had all them things.

  • @Scene68 There was infact was suppose to Xmen 4 however due to Superman Returns its no longer happening. :(

  • at 0.24 is that captain americas shield?

  • hmm right... yeah I realized that ahsuahsuhus but it's so awesome *----*

  • She was so cheated in this movie!

  • she can't control it

  • So much power! I want it!

    (foaming out the mouth)

  • this was not deleted ¬¬' this scene was in the movie!

  • @vandenberghferreira I know right? they just make us lose 49 secs of our lives . ¬¬

  • @vandenberghferreira actually the music was extended in this clip and it was in slow motion.

  • It's Missingno erasing all the save data!!

  • Carrie White eat (or rip) your heart out!

Love Stephen King to death by the way.

  • Jean grey/ phoenix is practically a goddess lol. She is strong period and since her and the phoenix are one she has endless power. In the comics anyways. The movie showed like a tiny fraction of what she can do

  • she is a telekinetic at an omega level so she is able to manipulate matter on an atomic level. Short to the point..she disintegrates them.

  • nine peaple got killed and disliced

  • How was she making those people Rip in pieces or whatever she was doing? Lol. Sorry new to xmen

  • @morganboy0ify she can manipulate everything...so i guess she decided to tear them into super tiny pieces lol

  • It's a pity this extended scene didn't made to the final cut of the film or even the DVD or Blu Ray release. Just a few seconds of it wouldn't have made a difference in the time frame and it would've emphasize the extreme powers of the Dark Phoenix. The production team must've been blind to leave this out! Anyway, this whole film was a letdown from the start... First Class still rules!

  • WTF THAT WAS THE BEST IN THE ENTIRE MOVIE. lol

  • now i'm ticked they deleted it! >:(

  • The Facts of wolverine's healing ability:

    -Heals on an molecular level

    -Your body never ages

-Healing Speeds Up and you feel more pain depending On the amount of damage done.

    Example - Bullets = Normal Heal/Little Pain - Desentegration = Fast Heal/Pain Intensified (100x)

  • is there any mutant higher than class five?

  • @frankthetank789 YES !!

    Its class LOGAN !!

  • She still has no soul.

  • must be that time of the month

  • All the Xmen movies sucked ass because they didn't show what the mutants could really do. For example Iceman sucked he didn't ice surf and he was in ice form for 10 seconds. Yay 10 seconds of the real iceman GREAT. The problem with all these crappy superhero movies is that the directors aren't true comicbook readers so they fuck up story lines just to see crap they think would look cool. Sadly they fail and make pieces of crap I wouldn't wipe my ass with. Where's Del Toro when you need him? :(

  • She was practicly desintecrating the entire island.

  • I'm just wondering

why those people keep cutting those scene that they have working very hard for???

    What's wrong with that scene

This video is not the only one

    many scene have been cut

    like Storm's flood scene

    that's my favorite

  • This scene would make more sense of showing the audience what the Phoenix made so powerful. Now that this was deleted she just looks like a staring zombie in the movie.

  • the honey badger doesn't give a shit

  • maybe she pulled back some of her power when she saw Wolverine, that's how he made it to her.

  • this is a 10 on the goreometer scale

  • This movies ending sucked, cause there is no way Wolverine could've withstand that amount of power she blew them up in a molecular level, if they wanted to do that i think they should've made Roque touch everyone have an epic battle with Jean, then touch her until she passed out and was weaken.

  • @carl056 actually in the comics wolvie survived in the center of an atomic explosion (though he was burned to his skeleton). Also destroying molecules can be a bit harder when they're constantly regenerating It's definitely debatable but I'd say the ending's plausible.

  • @Arocalypse the reason i say that it's not it because in X-men 2 Wolverine took a bullet in the head and he past out for a few minutes, in Xmen 1 he got knocked out cold by sabertooth, so if i past out from those, there is no way he'd just walk from that.

  • too much death?

  • jean looks ugly in this scene

  • i don't now but that movie was a waste of time the only think who save's the good special effects it's the only

  • This isnt a deleted scene /:

  • this wasn't deleted from the film...lol wtf...

  • ??? lol i have the dvd and in this scene isnt cut out of the movie, maby because i have the 16 edition and not the 12

  • this was cut because it was to violent but yet you can show charlse get abliterated point blank with a smile on his face....you gotta love the movies :D

  • 0:23-0:25 That's the deleted part I think.

  • Can someone answer this please. But what is Phoenix (Jean Grey) powers while in her Phoenix form? Can she stop time? Someone please explain

  • @MrstartjOfficial No. As Jean Grey she is a powerful telepath and an extremely powerful telekinetic, but with the pheonix force her telekinetic powers are multiplied to the point where she can psionically manipulate matter and any form of energy.

  • @MrstartjOfficial she pretty much becomes the most powerful mutant. she can control particles at subatomic level hence disintegration of peoples.

  • do not mess with a ginger.

  • @cutekodawsabinila correction: do not mess with a HOT ginger

  • @cutekodawsabinila a ginger?

  • @xmenfan07 yeah... that's what we call a redhead in slang, kapatid....

  • @cutekodawsabinila sureness kapatidd :)

  • @cutekodawsabinila just like moly!(harry potter)

  • @Mateussite the Weasley's yeah...

  • this was shown in my theatre

  • @Yunero not the part that shows her standing, the bit before and after that wasnt part of the deleted scene, it was just the part that shows her standing which was the deleted scene

  • what's that? turning into water?

  • @xxxruzzelxxx its just her powers lifting everything in the proximity including the lake or river or whatever they were in.

  • The Dark Phoenix has disintigrated anything. Mutants, humans, Worthinton Lab and even the X-Jet had been destroyed. Wolverine is the only mutant that can survive the Phoenix's power because of his healing factor.

  • @J0shuaFranc But really, no matter how good his healing factor was, if she could just tear apart everything on a sub-atomic level he shouldn't stand any chance.

They really should've made a better ending to this movie.

  • The Dark Phoenix has disintigrated anything. Mutants, humans, Worthinton Lab and even the X-Jet had been destroyed. Wolverine is the only mutant that can survive the Phoenix's power.

  • "Here lies Corporal J. Hughes, turned into man-dust by a pissed off ginger."

  • Better than the actual movie scene.

  • The movie still sucked balls. The deleted scenes could have helped it suck just one.

  • THIS PART WAS IN THE MOVIE

  • I would have ended it like this Logan cries out Jean's name. Everything was floating & disintergrating, the camera would focus on Jean's face & then pans out to arial where we finally see the fiery Phoenix raptor. The Jean shoots up to outer space & to the unknown. Storm flies down & stands next to Logan. She sees something in the distance where Jean once stood. As the smoke clears, a naked Scott in fetal position lies looking confuse in the rubble. Storm goes to him. Scott asks "What happened?"

  • @DarkWillow4Ever2010 That would have been awesome! Geez, you should of been a writer for the movie!

  • They should have left this scene in!

  • woah the part when everyone dissolves is pretty disturbing, especially spike and the other mutants.

  • I watched the downloaded version, and it had all the deleted scenes include, "They didnt have these parts in the cinemas" If they didnt the movie would be really bad

  • unlimITED POWWWWER!!!!

  • i wish they had done the rest of the scene like they said and showed that dark phoenix destruction actually spread to more than half the city killing thousands...

  • lol this is what happens when you break up with Jean :)

  • NOOOO JUGGYYY dieeddd no hulk versus juggernaut damn u FOX damn u to helll!!!

  • NEVER MESS WITH THE DARK PHOENIX OR SHELL DRAG YOU TO HELL!

  • Did I just heard the screech of a falcon lol.

  • Comment removed

  • yeah but that is true without the Phoenix she doesn't last long but I was pissed that it ended this way but they should have had a better ending like the future or something because "taking away" Rogue's powers was sooooo not cool :P

  • @SailorPerson But at the end we can see that magneto is regaining some of his powers so roque prob will too(even if she won't like it).. I mean she still has to become super kickass and steal miss marvels powers.. :p.. But I doubt they'll make a movie where roque isn't all dark and sad

  • Imagine the animators and special effects people who worked on this scene for days, only to hear that it'll be cut out. I'd be pissed.

  • @fox9ninja it doesn't make any sense, why the fuck would they cut shit like this, hell will have a spot open for the asshole who thought to cut this

  • @fox9ninja Me too!

  • I love the scene at 0:22 x_x

Why do they have to delete all the epic scenes? -.-

  • @yunaqqqqq2 best scence!

  • He can't be destroyed because of his adimantium bones

  • Read up on phoenix and wolverine. Wolverines healing factor varies by author. He has been able to heal massive wounds in the matter of seconds in the comics. This isn't too far fetched.... HOWEVER... jean was still in control somewhat here as you can see when she finaly switches back to herself. If she had wanted to, she could have killed him just as she did the others. wolverine is strong healing wise, but even he has his limits. and in all fairness jeans weakness is her mind.

  • @KaivenKraze get inside her mind, you can disable her... good luck with that though. :p

  • Shitty, shitty, shitty movie.

  • I noticed it too. But I think it's just metal scraping. I wish they'd given her better effects. Like she had in X2. I mean, she just stands there with black eyes. BFD.

  • just like in the comic Jean Grey cannot stay dead, the bitch.

unfortunately, that means she'll probably wind up int he reboot as she was one of the first X-men...with the stupid ass name: Marvel Girl.

  • Wolverines pants are "Phoenix Overpowered-ness Proof"

  • this was not deleted I saw this in the movie theaters and it was there as was the part with Xavier

  • This isn't deleted..? I have this on my DVD

  • lol Why didn't wolverine just inject her with the cure, take her powers away? haha I suppose I gut stab is just as good...

  • lol Why didn't wolverine just inject her with the cure, take her powers away? haha I suppose I gut stab is just as good...

  • lol Why didn't wolverine just inject her with the cure, take her powers away? haha I suppose I gut stab is just as good...

  • I love this scene. They should've kept it like this in the movie.

  • I feel the same away about the scene where Jean considers helping the little girl on the bridge. It reminds the audience that YES Jean is still on the inside fighting, and it sorta justifies her standing around during most of the last battle...not really, but it helps. One of the rules of film is don't assume we know (that Jean is still good), SHOW us.

  • cortaram uma boa cena !

  • Let me get this straight: the money shot of the film, where Phoenix/Jean finally lets loose and starts raising all manner of hell, gets deleted because executives were afraid there was too much violence?

It has been said before, but 20th Century Fox? You need to eat a bag of dicks.

  • Thats not true, in the commentary Brett Ratner said he had this scene removed bc he thought "it took you out of the movie". Most of his scenes/shots are very quick and I can see why he of all ppl thought this beautiful shot was too long. His inability to linger is his weakness.

  • I agree!

  • @crazyrabbits and it'd not even an overly gruesome set of deaths at that. I like how they conceptualized them....sort of like War of the Worlds. But it's sad because we do finally start to see her uncontrability of herself. And you get a nice slow-mo (contrast) of the rapid consecutive blasts she sends out - throughout the rest of the scene.

  • @lnowlin @crazyrabbits plus in the grand scheme of things it only brings the body count to +3 haha. It's not like it was a whole set of shots or deaths. It just starts in the middle of the guy flipping beyond the truck.

  • @crazyrabbits wait the execs though disintegrating people were too violent? But allowing magneto to get iron out of someone insides with the blood coming out wasnt too violent in the second movie? when wolverine body was disintegrating when he went to kill Jean that was cool? How about when Senator Kelly melted in the first movie? nah not violent at all its cool :D. YAY HYPOCRISY lol

  • they should have never deleted this scene. its impressive.... i wish they will produce X-Men Origins Jean Grey / Phoenix. i always think her character is more interesting than any other X-Men

  • I AGREE

  • Damn, they've deleted all the powerful scenes with Jean... :(

  • With all the uncut scenes the movie would have more than 2h, and then the bad haters would like the movie. It's a sad but true story. For me X-Men 3 was EPIC. Too short? Yes, I would love more 6h of movie.

  • All the deleted scenes should of been in it including all the alternates

  • They deleted this scene because there was probably too much carnage / death caused by Jean Grey / Phoenix...???

  • @StRick1013 No because it was just extra and the movie was getting too long and Ratner made it clear she turns stuff to ashes so that scene wasn't necessary.

  • I think him taking this scene out was a horrible decision. In the finished version I don't like how there is an abrupt cut from the 3 Omegas being atomized to the soldiers suddenly being flipped over and atomized. In the cut version I love how the shot pans out from Famke's gorgeous face. The shot also echoes the other long one from the house scene where Xavier manages to paralyze Jean long enough to transfer his consciousness to another body.

  • @phoenixheffa

I agree. But from a non-fan point of view, it was longer than necessary and needed to be cut since it was mostly fan service.

And I loved that it echoed the 'Dark Phoenix's Tragedy' scene but... What can you do?

    :/

    Jean still rocked tho'. :D

  • Oh yay! I'm analyzing it from a non fan standpoint too, but I just think it works better to pepper a film that is dominated by quick shots with long languid ones especially when they deal with a character who holds life and death in her hands. I guess I also like the extended version because its more from her perspective; most of the destruction sequence is from everyone else's so I thought it was a good switch. But everyone is entitled to their opinion so whatever :) K I'm done, promise.

  • @phoenixheffa

I know... If the movie was 'The Last Stand' anyways, it should've had everything.

Especially since the-- pardon the pun-- rising character of focus here in Jean Grey/ Dark Phoenix. And it's cool. I like discussing how trashy Ratner is and how he ruined X-Men movie franchise for life. X-Men 3, anyways.

  • @dominicanrich9 whats so good about controlling matter and energy? oh lords i hope you're being sarcastic lol.

that's like asking wanda a.k.a. "scarlet witch", "what's so good about manipulating/altering reality?"

  • Dark phoenix = Death on PMS

  • they say that the phoenix allows Jean to control matter and energy. What's so good about controlling matter and energy?

  • ummm matter is EVERYTHING....objects, people, animals, living/non-living things, for christ sake it's every single molecule. if she controls matter and energy she can dematerialize a universe if she wanted to without breaking a sweat

  • actually mister controlling such massive energy is not that easy what dominicanrich9 says is correct wht is the use of having this power while its uncontrolable think about it rationally if she wanted to dematerialize world she would 've been destroyed by god immediately i dont hate the moview,i love it but dont mix hollywood into the real world cuz you'll eventually go COCO....XD

  • @07khalid95 thats if god exists in the marvel universe

    Meh probely does

  • Comment removed

  • why did they delete that? what, too voilent for kids? c'mon...

  • OMG, why leave this part out!! XD its so awesome!

  • whoa. people turning into ashes. me likey :D but u know wolverine can die, even when he has regeneration. if his skin is burnt off or ripped off, or he loses TOO much blood. or his vital organs get destroyed. he can die.

  • @DaSora2 actually he can regrow missing limbs and organs. but idk bout the blood. that might killl him. If his skin is burned off then he just regrows it because in the comics he was flung into the sun with jean.

  • I'm sorry, but movie 3 sucked. It had its ups and downs, but c'mon. I HATE it when a cartoon or tv series does much better than the movies. I also cannot stand when directions DO NOT FOLLOW THE COMICS. wtf.

  • Isn't it weird how all of wolverine's clothes disinigrated exept his pants?

  • @TheTrueDarthRevan1 It's not like they could show him naked.

  • @TheTrueDarthRevan1

They need to keep it PG-13... obviously...

  • @TheTrueDarthRevan1 Those are some tough ass dungarees

  • @TheTrueDarthRevan1 cause his pants might be adamantium lol

  • @TheTrueDarthRevan1 Yes, it's the same thing that happens when Bruce Banner transforms into Hulk.

  • @TheTrueDarthRevan1 would we want to see his beast?

  • @TheTrueDarthRevan1 PERFECT CENSOR-SHIP!! XD

  • @TheTrueDarthRevan1 do you really think she would disinagrate his willy wonka?..

That would be.. I don't think even wolferine would recover from that!

  • @TheTrueDarthRevan1 It's a crime against humanity is what it is.

  • @TheTrueDarthRevan1 hahahaha. i love to see logan's cock. i'm curious if its also made of metal.

  • @TheTrueDarthRevan1

Dark Phoenix was not intrested about his ding-a-ling

  • @TheTrueDarthRevan1

    because phoenix wanted logans dick

  • @Elektrikkiss HGAHAHAHA

  • @TheTrueDarthRevan1 well yeah lol - but it's for obvious reasons (movie ratings of course). And maybe he has some high tech pants to protect his kibbles and bits from being eaten away. OUCH.

  • @TheTrueDarthRevan1 then you wanted to see the wolverine without pants ; fagot

  • @TheTrueDarthRevan1 Hahaha I just thought about that too !

  • @TheTrueDarthRevan1

    and his hair :P

  • @TheTrueDarthRevan1 it goes quite the same as hulk too...

  • ONSLAUGHT CAN KILL SHE

  • If you listen at 0:14-0:16 you can kinda hear a phoenix bird sound like in the cartoons when she destroys the x-jet

  • yeah i noticed that to, thought i was the only one.

  • @kydwykyd yea I thought I was the only 1 too.

  • yeah! i heard it 2! xD

  • @1994andr3w I think that's just the sound from the force of the pyschic blast dematerializing the jet and the building.

  • @1994andr3w have you ever been at airport :)? that's the sound of engine when it's turned off... :)

  • @1994andr3w Thats just the sound of metal warping but it does sound like that.

  • I think it would be awesome to see Wolverine and Punisher work together in a movie.

  • that would be a bad way to go... getting dissolved.

  • I think it'd be pretty quick.

  • I bought X-Men 3 Special edition DVD,and it said that Dvd contains 22 deleted scenes and 3 alternate endings, however if found only 13 scenes(Including 3 alternate endings),WTF where are the other 10 scenes!!!,including this one!!!

  • You need to select 'join the brotherhood' at the first menu for the other 10 deleted scenes or alternatively when you go to the features menu there is a logo at the top left of the screen which will give you more commentary and scenes.

  • Thanks:)

  • Honestly, it is best not to even compare the comic histories of X-Men characters to that of the movies because they completely destroyed them.

  • I'm not a fan, but that's fricken cool.

  • But cant the phoenix resurrect people she has killed and cant she recreate things she has destroyed?? And when the hell do we get to see Rogue Fly? I also agree that Storm Needed better powers, and to my comic book knowledge Callisto could not run like that. And If we wanna get technical Psylocke was good, so was Spike and Marrow (eventually)

  • Rogue got the strenght and the ability to fly when she absorbed Ms Marvel powers. In the movies she hasn't met her yet so...

    I hope this helps.

  • yes but isnt Ms.Marve jean grey i thought it was??

  • Jean Grey is the Phoenix in this movie...

  • i know i thouhgt her name was ms. marvel in the comix at some points

  • @maxgagaone

Ms. Marvel and Jean Grey are two different people. You may be thinking of Rogue. In the comics Rogue absorbed Ms. Marvel's abilities and memories, basically becoming a hybrid of Ms. Marvel and herself... That's why the Rogue you may know from the cartoon series can fly and has super-strength and durability (and a personality).

Man, I wish the over-simplified movies would at least TRY to do the complex stories of the comic books some justice. :(

  • @ maxgagaone.

I think u mixed up Marvel Girl and Ms. Marvel.

Marvel Girl is the codename that JeanGrey had in the 1960s comic. Ms Marvel is that woman whom Rogue absorb her powers permanently, thus all those flying and super strength.

  • wow they completly got the phoenix's power wrong, aleast with juggernaut he pretty much had the same powers minus the whole mutant instead of mystism.

but goddamn fox is cheap as hell, they had two box office hits and barely lifted a finger while making this film.

  • actually they didnt get phoenix's powers wrong.. her powers include jeans typical telepathy and telekinsis, and to do anything on a subatomic and moleculor level. her power also include fire, but that the ydid mess up by not putting it in. then again they changed the whole thing around.. in the originals pheonix is an actual spirit who senses jeans great power, whereas in the movie, pheonix is jeans subconsious with all her power
