  • this movie is a rip off of my favorite wife 1940. well same movie different titale. thanks for the upload thou.

  • Cyd charisse was a bit of a "butter face."

  • Dean Martin is terrible.

  • just pretend its opening credits that dont go away;)

  • Aww Marilyn is so good in this.

  • So sad that this was the last film Marilyn Monroe worked on, and then died before they could finish it....They remade it later with Doris Day and called it "Move Over Darling". A good film, but definitely not the same.

  • the thing in the middle doesnt bother me, im watching this for free in good quality who am i to whine?

  • it is a film @notadood, unrealistic things like that tend to happen :)

you can see the whole film on a dvd special features, i think it's on my special edition tin of the seven year itch.

    Hope this helps :)

  • @HostelCam

what do you mean? witch dvd is it on? I would like to see it

    greetings Elwin

  • 6:55 Little kids playing at the pool unsupervised. Talking to a stranger. Did that actually happen?

  • Wow años sin verla ♥

  • I DIDNT WATCH IT ALL BECAUSE I COULDNT STAND THE CONSTANT FLASHING OF THE DIRECTOR CREDIT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SCREEN YOU ARE A MORON

  • to bad this film was never finish, would have love to see the film completed. Love the whole cast. Cid, Dean and Marilyn are all fabulous.

  • DEAN MARTIN SEXY! MARiLYN MONROE = SEXY BUT SOO DAMN SAD THAT SHE WAS ALWAYS LATE TO THIS MOVIE SHOOTING AND BARELy EVEN WENT TO WORK! = DIVA. but she was bipolar and was sooo insecure... =( i wish i was there to help Marilyn with her insecurities. Marilyn, R.I.P. =*(

  • they should of left the movie as something's got to give instead of redoing the script, putting new people in it and renaming the film

  • The Brass Section That Starts Around 7:06 Is Really Lovely!:)

  • Dean Martin was truly handsome back then! I wish I had played in a movie with him. Yet, I have realized that this movie is similar to the Doris Day and James Garner film. That movie is called, "Move Over, Darling".

  • @celestialpathway The reason for that is because this film was never finished, Monroe was fired and the whole thing fell apart. They eventually re-shot the film with Doris Day and James Garner under a new director and gave it a new title, "Move Over Darling".

  • Thank you so much for posting this, so nostalgic! What a pity it was never finished :-(

  • it's such a pity that movie didn't get finished. i've a feeling it would have been great.

  • how do you replace marilyn with that woman?

  • She looks beautiful!! Doris Day ended up taking the role after Monroe's passing. I didn't know the two films were the same!

  • is it available on DVD?

  • she really was an amazing actress too.. stupid hollywood big shots always cast her as the dumb blonde role just because she was so beautiful. inside and out r.i.p norma jean <3 xx

  • That created by thing that keeps flashing is Fucking Anoying!!!!!!! Omg!!!

  • marilyn monroe is my idol, most beautiful woman to this day.

  • awww marilyn loved kids.

  • Thanks for uploading this movie. Too bad Marilyn didn't do the whole movie.

  • This is her last movie it was never finished. What you see in this clip was painstakingly edited from the film shot. Yes this is available on DVD I bought the boxed set and this was a special DVD entitled Final Days. The movie was shelved and later released with Doris Day that movie is called Move over Darling.

  • is this movie on dvd yet?

  • I WISH MARILYN HADNT OF GOTTIN FIRED FROM THIS FILM SHE WAS DOING WELL IN IT AND THEM STUOPID DIRECTORS HAD TO FIRE HER LIKE THT I WISH THEM CRAZY DIRECTORS COULD OF MADE THIS FULL MOVIE WITH HER AND GOT IT OVER WITH IT SEEMED LIKE IT WOULD BE A PERFECT MOVIE BUT THE DIRECTOR ONLY MADE HALF OF oh by the way thx for uploading this its the bom!!!!! you got really good quality too

  • @JoelNickerson they eventually rehired her, but she had died before she had received the news.

  • she is sooooooooo beautiful. more beautiful here than EVER!

  • Who was granted top billing in the contracts? Monroe or Martin? Ms Monroe was all the sexier at thirty six. This was the first movie in which she played a mother. It was a role, in real life, she was, alas, denied. Also, this was her first movie in which she spoke in her natural voice without the affected breathiness.Thank you for this posting.

  • i would give anything to be Mrs. Monroe's' granddaughter

  • @mexikankutty she tried to have children but couldn't... I heard she always wanted children. It would of been nice for someone to live out her legacy. Maybe she would of been alive today if she had children...

  • @LOVE808s Ever read The Marilyn Conspiracy? It's a very good read...

I am convinced she was murdered.

  • @LOVE808s what a moronic comment.having kids doesnt stop people killing themselves and they are not ron to live out someones legcy.

  • @LOVE808s what a moronic comment.having kids doesnt stop people killing themselves and they are not ron to live out someones legcy. sorry, not born to live out someones idea of a legacy

  • @boadicea47 the previous comment I was responding to was "I would give anything to be Mrs Monroe's granddaughter" that would mean that she would of had to had children to carry onto the next generation. I can hardly understand what your comment is trying to tell me because of the incorrect spelling and grammar. What a moronic comment that is.

  • I think one of the amazing things about her was that she didn't do it for the money or the fame, she did it because she wanted to be a great and serious actress and because she wanted above all things, be loved. And she was an incredible actress, she was natural.

  • Marilyn was the most amazing woman of all times. She was beautiful and sweet. It's so sad that she was so troubled and lonely. The world really lost a treasure... =/ But Marilyn Monroe, the legend, will live on forever.

  • this movie is not created by whoever the hell that asshole is who keeps flashing that thing in the middle.

  • @11777766 its strange that 20 people click that their like your comments about your claim in seeing marilyn monroe final few weeks, when you was not even born, so tell me how a 34 year old man that you claim on your profile was around as a kid when she died August 4, 1962????????????????????? i very much like to know, sorry don't mean to be harsh, i am so tired of people coming out with lies and fault hood!!

  • @shirleyberry1 could be user's father.. your comment is very stupid, you better believe in something else.. or someone else more interesting than a user's comment..

  • @shirleyberry1 its just a hunch, but im guessing that he is implying that he saw the photos, not that he was there when they were taken.

  • This movie is a remake on My Favorite Wife with Cary Grant and Irene Dunne. If you want to see it type in My Favorite Wife 1940 Part 1/7 . It's one of my favorite old movies.

  • This might have been a classic...I saw an around 20 minute edit a while back and it was hysterical...

  • Please post link to nude photos of Dean Martin, who was said to be HORSE-HUNG!!

  • Oh, God, I wish she had finished this movie. DD should have never done it.

  • Comment removed

  • She would've been a great mother

  • how can one paraphrase the titel of this movie? i'd appreciate your help very much being not a native speaker, thanx!

  • How ironic that Marilyn was scared of being made to look like a joke. She was magnificent in every way The joke is that when this incomplete movie was reshot a few years later the 'star' was Doris Day.

  • I know for real. That ad is so pointless. You can hardly read it!

  • to bad it wasn't ever finished

  • i saw the one with Doris Day and to be honest it wasn't as funny was this one.

  • Lmao, okay sorry shit

  • she didnt finish the movie, its was made by Doris Day and ?????

  • @hmeldgaard

    jimmy g

  • she died in 1962

  • Why they keep flashing that bullshit in the middle? WTF kind of shit is that?

  • I know!!!!! its so annoying ....

  • @SkankExpose just something to piss ya off i guess.

  • @SkankExpose Not gonna watch it because of that.

  • She died in 1963

  • @RedMansionProduction Date of Death:

5 August 1962, Los Angeles, California, USA

  • RedMansionProduction, No she died in 1962

  • noooo she didnt

  • I also think this is funny to be an exact copy of Move Over Darling....interesting...version

  • @ClassicsWEREandARE Cary Grant and Irene Dunne were in the original version. Grant's roommate, Randolph was also in it.

  • About the opening song (Something's Gotta Give) which is where the title is based from, I've heard Frank Sinatra sing this but this is Sinatra singing it here ?

  • Dean Martin; Marilyns friend & co-star

A big-ask; though I hope a starlet 'fills-in' & movie is completed using digitised Marilyn, Dean...

  • So Move Over Darling was a total copy of this movie, which was the re-make of My Favorite Wife. I saw the Doris Day's version first. And I've never watched any Marilyn Monroe's movies. So this is... interesting to see her take on one my facorite Doris Day movies- even if Marilyn was first anyway.

  • The logo in the center flashing up constantly is way too distracting.

  • @padmeboo yea especially when its covering marilyn's face

  • She was fantastic!!! She would've done even better in the later 60's or even in the 70's I wonder what her movies would've been like then.....

  • You echo my sentiments.

    Happy Thanksgiving.

  • palat babi butoh, kalau empok, tak tunjuk pulak kat bawah tu. kalau tunjuk pun kejap jer.. lepas tu linen berserabut cover bawah. pantat cilaka sial...babi

  • they where going to cast jayne mansfield in this.i dont know why they didnt

  • Maybe they thought that Marilyn would've been better for the part and she was :)

  • nope thay just wanted to use her in the nude scenes

  • stfu! Marilyn wouldn't have you liked you anyway bitch!

  • i guess those scenes were her own invention

  • that logo in the center is so fucking annoying!!

  • I don't know if this is currently available on DVD, but if not, it would definitely find an audience and become quite popular because there are many people who would love to have Marilyn's final film in their DVD collection despite it being so short, but even moreso because of the nude pool scene. It's too bad it wasn't finished because Marilyn was funny and great in it with her swedish accent and never looked more beautiful on film.

  • idky but her teeth look yellow to me... and i cant blieve in two months after she got fired that we were all going to lose her tear.

  • i dont know how Cukor could have made her go thru this scene...underneath the make up she doesnt look well at all...n they wasted 2 much time shooting the scene with the dog cos apparently Tippy wasnt listening to his trainer during this scene...

  • Chances are Marilyn Monroe would have won kudos for this role.

Of course, the movie was re-made as 'Move Over, Darling', with Doris Day and James Garner.

  • This is a remake of "My Favorite Wife" starring Cary Grant and Irene Dunne. If you want a wonderful rendition of this timeless story, try the 1940 version with the originals.

  • The pills where huge n it wasnt cumin from my words it was cumin from wat the doctor that checked her dead body said n cumin from her house keepers son n her best friend do sum research like I do

  • you're right...there was something very fishy abt her death. She knew too much abt the Kennedy's. Some say the last miscarriage she had the foetus was conceived by one of the Kennedys'. I believe they got rid of her becos she held a dream of someday becoming first lady..

  • I much prefer her voice in this movie to any of her other movies. I like her a lot more when she doesn't play the dumb blond.

  • Thats your upinion not mine , u have to respect mine ...and if u dont than its your problem....

  • she didnt kill her self on the doc who checked her when she was dead said the pills that were empty beside her bed were impossible to drink the whole bottle by the 2 pill she would have been knocked out n a cop who pulled over a car that was drivin away from her house n in the car was Bobby Kennedy n a mob guy n her Doctor they killed her cause she knew to much then they told her friend to leave Hollywood n forget about wat she saw in Marilyns Diary or She'll end up in a Bodybag too

  • Okay, that was hard to understand because you don't use any punctuation, but when people commit suicide with pills, they tend to take all the pills at once, not pill by pill. Everything else is just speculation. I'm not saying I know one way or another what actually happened that day, but anybody (especially anyone who wasn't even alive at the time) who says they know for fact what happened to her is just kidding themselves.

  • I call people stupid if the act like that, it pissis me freaking off that still some idiot people think that they stil believe that Marilyn took her own life...wich is NOT

  • Well, calling people stupid for having an opinion on the matter, and questioning something one way or another doesn't make you look any smarter. Sorry, that's just the way it is. Respect other peoples rights to formulate their own thoughts on the matter.

  • Don't call people stupid for thinking that. It's not like she had ever led the perfect life and then died. I'm not saying I know exactly what happened to her, but she was an orphan, sexually abused as a child, divorced 3 times, went through 2 miscarriages, had drug addictions and was seen as nothing but a dumb blonde by many. She was a wonderful woman and a great actress, but that's a lot for one person to handle, let alone handle in the spotlight of Hollywood.

  • Great to see this movie that never made it to the big screen and in truth the last movie Marilyn ever acted on...wow...but anyone notice how her voice changed ? Her 50's voice was a small, soft, Snow White type/Minnie Mouse type of voice but here she sounds mature...even sad..I think this was her real voice and not the 'made up" voice from the 50's...this was really her best most natural acting role

  • yeahh, this was one of her roles where she didnt have to play a "dumb blonde", so therefore she didn't need a soft voice for it.

  • Her and Judy Garland Were pretty good friends...I don't think many people know that...Judy once said something along the lines of this, "Marilyn and I are similar, its like we share the same thoughts and soul..." Or something said like that :)

  • Please, if someone still thinks that Marilyn killed hersef than that person is grazy......We know now Marilyn is murderd by her docter, housekeeper and some other people who where in Marilyns house on august 4th 1962.

  • august the 4th...and no she wasnt murderd by the doctor or house wife we know that she locked the door and she took a bottle of nembutal tablets which knocked her out and she'd had previously taken choral hydrate...which interacted with other substances and that what killed her.

  • Marilyn Monroe did not kill herself. She was murdered by the Kennedys.

  • Marilyn was the most beautiful woman I've ever seen on or off the screen. I was lucky enough to see photos of her taken on the beach in Malibu a few weeks before her death. She was radiant, and so alive. Then, mysteriously, we lost a national treasure. Still, she will always remain a wonderful part of our lives.

  • yes she was radiant and gorgeous, She had that glow no actress nowadays have, She was special, A treassure and to this day she makes people happy just looking at her, She also makes me understand myself a bit cause I see myself in her vulnerability. She's so gorgeous.

  • @11777766 fully agree. at that time america was able to give the world something ... yummy ... and valuable (some like it hot). today it´s lindsay lohan and lady gaga. not to speak about paris h. the fall of a nation can be measured. not only in afghanistan and in iraq - also in hollywood ........ how sad :(

  • blame her death on the dope and the abusers of hollywood stars at that time from hollywood and washington,d.c.

  • she didnt die b4 they finished the movie. she was fired from it b4 she died because she would be late all the time and miss rehearsals and filming days. that may have been a large contributer to the fact that she "commited suicide" or so they say. but i do love the work shes left behind for us!

  • If you see any documentaries about her, you'll find that marilyn got the cast & crew back together some time before she died because she wanted to carry on making the movie. unfortunately she died before they could officially start work again. shame :(

  • she did die before they finished the movie because they rehired her back and she died before they got to complete the film.

  • I think there's many reasons why she killed herself, She never found herself, She never knew herself, That might be why she was so good on the screen, She could act as anyone she wanted cause she could turn herself into someone completely new,

  • I agree. People who knew her noted very deep emotional wounds and problems, hence the psychiatric counseling. In my opinion, she seemed to "have it all" but her basic needs were never fulfilled.

  • exactly, I agree with you too, she never had love,

  • those fucking wrightings in the middle like what the fuck

  • the man who plays the judge was also in Breakfast at Tiffany's (for anyone who didn't notice lol)

anyway, i love Marilyn Monroe & ive just been watching 2 of her other films on here. what an actress as well as icon !

  • omg was marilyn monroe pucnhed in the face!? in the film apparently?>

  • PJCoan is so right. Marilyn never looked healthier or more beautiful than in those last few months and she was a scapegoat for the debacle of Cleopatra bleeding Fox's cash away at Cinecitta! What remains of the movie can only make us wonder what would have happened had she been alive to return to work on Aug 6th. She was triumphant, excited and full of life... until someone intervened!

  • This would be a lot better without that invasive "created by" logo that shows up every few seconds, which isn't even readable btw.

  • I've always wanted to see this film. I love Marilyn and Dean<3 ^__^. Too bad it's unfinished though...

    ~Jade808~

  • This was an unfinished movie starring Marilyn, before she passed away.. Sad really..

  • Ah! Move over darling!! I didn't know Marilyn was in the original!!

I hate the doris Day version, she is so bad at playing a bitch!

  • where did you get this whole movie? i know there were bits in documentaries and so on, but this is awesome. thanks for sharing!

    x

  • I have the diamond collection and it's there with a documentary:)

  • This is my favourite movie with Marilyn Monroe:)

  • And all the executives at Fox stated that Marilyn "walked through the picture, as if in a dream." She was sensational. They were wrong- plain and simple. They needed a "whipping boy" for the hemmorage that was "Cleopatra" being filmed at the same time, and used Marilyn to do so. They were wrong. Patrick

  • Thank U

  • The movie that fox did in place of this "move over darling" with james garner and doris day, I cant even watch it. This was marilyns movie with dean martin. It should be released, there is plenty of footage and it would put to rest the rumors that she didnt do well in the movie. SHE WAS FANTASTIC! AS usual!

  • But wasnt this movie cut short and not relesed in the movies because they fired Marilyn because she was too late and used drugs. Well thats what i heard

  • Seen the footage..but not like this..

    Thanks...

    Marti

  • her trademark voice kind of goes in and out.

  • Yeah Maz!!! I read the book , Greenson was on holidays with his family in switzerland, but she had to call him back, and that muthafucker PUNCHED her in her face, that pretty face!! I feel ANNOYED juss to think about it!!!that kunt! she had to go to plastic surgeons because of him!

  • omg. i saw a comment you left on a marilyn monroe vid. the someting gota give. and youd said dr greensonn puched her in the face and she had to got to the surgeoens!!! is that true?

  • Marilyn Monroe, is still the Greatest Classical Actress of All Time. But it sad that if her childern would have lived, they would be the same age of the boys in the pool.

  • One is a girl, actually. But you're right, it is sad knowing that the children she lost would have been the same age as those two, an irony I'm sure was not lost on Marilyn.

  • what's the name of the two first song's??

  • This movie might have had some box-office potential, had Norma Jean Mortenson not met that tragic fate.

  • The scene with her rubbin the kid's ribs is so cute! makes me think, she would have been a great Mom if she had lived longer :(

  • > on when the cops were FINALLY called...she was cleaning the DIRTY SHEETS from the ENEMA that SHE had administered to Marilyn!!She shouldn't have even BEEN at the house,as Marilyn had FIRED HER before she went to Mexico to buy new furniture!!The whole thing is so EASY to see once you've read the book by Donald Spotto...ALL the pieces are 'there' and once you've had it pointed out to you there are just no other theories left!!All FACTS!!!!She did NOT kill herself and Fox had RE-HIRED her too!!

  • > barbs by her other doctor!!All that shit about "having to break a window because her bedroom door was locked" is all LUDICROUS,as after Marilyn was put in the Payne Whitney hospital in New York, from that moment on she NEVER had ANY doors locked and in fact had all locks REMOVED!!Also,he could NOT have broken a window to see her lying dead,as she had chronic insomnia and ALWAYS had a MASSIVE 'black out' piece of material NAILED all around the window!!!!THAT is WHU Eunace had the WASHING MACHINE

  • Wow...i dunno WHERE you got all this...i've never seen most of it!!As for Marilyn's death...Eunice Murray administered the enema to Marilyn that Dr.Greenson had given her the task of doing, despite Eunace holding NO medical certificates whatsoever!!He didn't do it himself as he was FURIOUS with Marilyn for recalling him from his family holiday in Switzerland (he gave Marilyn a black eye on his return for which she had to see a plastic surgeon about!!)He didn't CHECK that she'd been given other>

  • whos eunice & dr greenson?!

  • Eunice was Marilyn's Housekeeper

and Dr.Greenson was Marilyn's Therapist I belive or a Personal Doctor

  • Dr.Greenson wasn't on vaction after the death of Marilyn he was their.

Everyone has elminated most of the possbilities of every single rumor of Marilyn's Passing.

The Inly 2 Possible, Suicide or Homicide

  • I never said that he WAS my dear!!She had to call him back from his family vacation in Switzerland to 'deal' with the heads at Fox,as HE had organised it so that it was HIM that was attending all the pre-production meetings regarding 'Somethings Gotta...' then he fukked off on holiday, just as they startwed filming!!He was so angry that she called him back that he PUNCHED her in the FACE (KUNT...how DARE he!!!!)Please read the book: Marilyn Monroe by Donald Spotto!!It says it ALL!!Love M<aqz,X...

  • you can't always belive what you read.

  • I love Marilyn, she was amazing and still is and will never be forgotten EVER!

    She is my idol

All she wanted was a family of her own but she never could :(

Rest In Paradise Miss Monroe ♥

  • If Marilyn came to my door id let her sleep with me :D no chance id turn down having a drink with her :)

  • thankx for posting this. I thought this one was never finished due to production troubles...

  • Why did she die?

  • Thank you so much for posting this,,Marilyn looks divine. It's so good to see her in her final film !

  • This might have been a box-office success for the legendary Norma Jean Mortenson--Marilyn Monroe to you.

  • i agree- very ironic because u could see she was morphing into a real actress at this point and not just a sex symbol. At 36, reality was biting.

  • wow how did u do this? get the movie because every time i looked for it i got documentaries.

  • there was a vhs set put out a few years ago about the last days of Marilyn and footage of the last film was found in the vault at the studio. they strung scenes together and included it in the set.

  • dean could not stand working with her on this film-she lost a ton of weight and she looks divine!

  • then why did he quit if she wasn't in it?

  • /They were good friends

  • According to the documentary on the behind-the-scenes during the movie shoot, Dean refused to stay in the movie if she was fired.

Ironically, the canning of this film killed the movie careers of a few people- Steve Allen (who was very awkward in it), Cyd Charise (who decided she had enough with studios) and Dean for a short while until he re-invented his popularity by doing that famous song along with the Matt Helm character.

  • Actually after this film, Dean Martin was in 4 movies with Frank Sinatra, 1 with Paul Newman, and 1 with John Wayne before he made any Matt Helm films. Doesn't sound much like his career was damaged in any way.

  • He wasn't the lead in any of those. It was a downturn, until Matt Helm put him back in the lead. What also helped was having his own tv show.

  • when marilyn was a child she had a dog named Tips, just like the dog in this film.

  • the kennedys had a connection to the mob andd what i belive is that Marilyn knew alittle to muchh andd the kennedys asked the mobb to kill herr ?? thats what i think of how she died.

  • Yes, I would love them 2 realese all of the movie. And also, The reason why she was like that was because the mixes of medication given to her, Doctors and The White House killed her, they killed her u bastards.
