  • @abhijitvmehta Thanks for your reply. You did not embarrass or insult me. I should apolgise to you as I was trying to be funny but my comment appears a bit disresepctful. Anyway, here in the UK, "Bombay Aloo" or "Bombay Potato" is the name probably most often used on Indian Restaurant menus and supermarket ready meals for this dish. Interesting to hear it is not called this in Bombay. Indian food has been lovingly adopted here but inevitably has been re-styled and re-named in some cases.
