  • This looks like a brilliant performance, the set and everything BRILLIANT!

  • that kick-ass granny is my favorite part of the play! :D

or, at least she was kick-ass in the version i saw live...shes a bit more timid in this one...

    but not completely timidxD

  • great job! im auditioning for into the woods jr in about a week. advice anyone?

  • I just got cast as little red at the playhouse. its my first musical and i hope im as good as u ur very good! any tips u can give me?

  • Our Little Red Riding Hood was sick to, and you could tell! were u really sick? cause you sound great!

  • This is great! What do you mean it wasn't your best? Your voice is amazing. If this is you sick, you'd be brilliant normally.

  • Having a bad throat isnt an excuse...i once was getting over streph and performed as annie at a 1000 seat theater. but i think your voice fits the part rlly well and would like to see you do this with less belt and more technique maybe? still amazing though!

  • @ilubemmerz, of course it's an excuse. Singing while your throat is bad damages your voice. >__>

  • Amazing amazing voice, amazing amazing set, would've loved to see this production

  • Beautiful production. Great job fir a bad throat. Although, it always disappoints me when a director allows his actors to perform a Sondheim character, but not interpret the part correctly. Just viewing you barrel your way through just one song shows me you had no idea of the character. You missed everything this song is supposed to convey to the audience. Your interpretation was completely superficial.

  • some notes were slightly pitchy at times, but at the top of your register you were great, and especially considering what a difficult song it is. i'm sure when you aren't sick, you are an even more fabulous singer.

  • L.O.L. i did this play and i was little red....yeah i wasnt really as good as herrrr...

  • Great Performance!

  • Great performance!

  • the acting at the beginning was kinda..."plastic"...good voice tho. :)

  • very nicely done :)

  • The set, the costumes, the scenery, all fantastic...this was a great production! I'd give my left arm to sing Sondheim (which must be devilishly hard) as well as you have, and to think you did it all with a bad throat - wow!

  • love it - great talent

  • ur really good!

  • Just like the broadway version, Incredible!

    :D

  • Wow, thank you so much!

  • hey! you were amazing in this, i wouldn't have guessed your throat was sore! im auditioning for red in into the woods jr. any advice?

  • I think you sang quite well to be honest. I wouldn't have guessed that you were sick.

  • Thanks so much!! I guess we're all our own worse critic, it's so hard not to pick yourself apart when you've posted a video for all of Youtube to see! :)

  • goood job!

my cousin was in this play but she was the step mother

  • I really enjoy this. It's wonderful.

  • Chica, if that's with a sore throat, that's absolutley frightening. I can't sound this good when I'm healthy. I'm auditioning for Red soon at my school though, and thanks so much for giving me a good idea of what to do!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you!! That means a lot!! Break a leg :)

  • Your so good as Little Red, I actually got the part of her in my towns theatre compnay production of this, I hope I cna play her hafl as good as you! lol

  • the set really is amazing, as well as your singing!

  • One of the few characters/songs you could get away with over belting i think :D

  • wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thats the best overall production of into the woods next to the actual broadway show! really the sets, the costumes, the lighting, its all amazing! :D

  • i'm auditioning for this play as Red tommorow (well, i'm in but they have to figure out what part i should have) i'm so excited!

  • This was an awesome version of "I Know Things Now"...you have a great voice...and that was with a sore throat! and the sets are amazinggg.

  • one of the best little reds ive ever seen

  • Thank you so much!

  • u did fine if i hadnt read ur info i wouldnt have guessed u were sick.

im trying out for little red soon and wanted to know if u have any pointers or tips?

  • This is really good for having a sore throat....I LOVE the sets they're amazing!!!

  • yea i can tell ur pushing it a little, but u did an incredible job for having a sore throat. hey ur better than i am right now! i'd like to hear u sing when u don't have a soar throat!!

  • Yayyy I am going to be Little Red in a production soon! :)

  • this set is amazing!

  • hey im playing little red in this show. can u give me any pointers?

  • You did a good job for having a sore throat. I know how you feel. When I was in high school my senior year, we did Annie Get Your Gun and I was Buffalo Bill. The day before the opening night, I lost my voice, but during the performances, even with my voice pretty much gone, people thought that my voice was how my character sounded. Of course I didn't think so but I said "ok." It all surprisingly worked out LOL

  • i love the house in this production

  • SHUT UP! You know you're goood. ;) Goood job! :-D

    <3 Duck

  • You were very good! You didn't sound sick to me. You sounded just fine. Anyway, I'm trying out for this part soon and I'm trying to find how so people play little red and see how my opinion is another way to play her. Anyway you were really good!

  • don't u love it how everyone gets sick during performances, especially if they have a big part. lol. but you did amazing, anyway. that set was amazing, too.

  • ur 20!

  • haha yeah... do I seem a lot younger?

  • Oh wow, this is really great! I'm going to an audition for Into the Woods in a few weeks, specifically for LRRH. I only hope I do as well as you!

  • The props are great! The New Voice Company, Philippines did this production and is still going for their last run this week. Little Red was played by Julia who is 11yrs. Pls. have a look. thanks!

  • Amazing! How old are you?

  • Thank you! I'm 20 :)

  • wow, it's great that you can play young.

  • um so ur pretty much awesome! lol that set is so cool and ur acting is AMAZING! and u don't sound sick at all, u sound just like the original Broadway LRRH. my school's doin this show thins spring and i wanted this part soooo bad and i got a callback and everything but i was sick for it :( but if i WAS her in the show I'd def. try to pick up some tips from you. great job!

  • holy crap!! awesome job!! you got the first part SO much like the real into the woods!!!

  • I agree, your sets are amazing...they must have taken forever to make! And don't worry, your singing was fantastic, as was your acting. :)

  • im doing this show at my school and trying out for little red..was it hard?

  • Good luck! Into the Woods is a deceivingly difficult show- Sondheim loves to compose very unique and interesting rhythms and melodies.

Many theatres portray Little Red in drastically different ways. When I did the role the theatre wanted it as close to the Broadway cast as possible- loud, harsh American accent, very much like a young girl. However I've also seen the role done more sexual and flirtatious. Either way, just be confident and show off your chest-voice/belt as much as possible!

  • into the woods IS a really really difficult show! i played piano in the pit and let me tell you, your fault killed me. your performance is great though. rivals danielle's.

  • i understand the throat thing. i was little red in another play called once upon a wolf at my theatre company. the day of taping, i had the worse throat pains. but YOU! you are AMAZING! your acting, singing (let alone the throat) and just overall expression is just top notch! little red in into the woods is my dream role, and i look to you for inspiraion

  • Wow. Thank you so much. :)

  • Belting doesn't matter. The acting was great, you perfectly conveyed the double meaning of this song.

  • Thanks for posting something from GLT finally! I have two bad quality vids on my page from when we did man of La mancha at GLT. That was the only show I did there because I moved to Charlotte and then to NYC but I have always thought very highly of their production quality esp for a community theatre!!

  • hahha, love it.

    little red did really good.

  • Girl. You are so good. Marry me.

  • wow that set really is amazing. And you didn't do so bad =]

  • I just lost all bowel control this video is sooo chawsome...how is this girl so famazing??
