she is beautful.......my daughte has micro deletion 22, she is now 10, she is walking and goes to school, yes she's delayed and I wouldn't change anything, I have a 23, 20 and 15 year old and they all love there sister to pieces, she teaches us...the love for my kids is equal. That doesn't mean that it won't happen..an accident could put you in a whole different situation in an instant. It could just as easily happen to your grandchildren if you are lucky enough to have any. I would love to know what you would do if your grandchild was born with a developmental disability. I have a daughter with similar disabilites and have made plans financially/otherwise for her care at 40 and beyond. And, yes, I plan to be changing her diapers at that time.If you were in a similar situation you'd hopefully do the same, for you would know the value of that child.
