  • Gud English

  • I'm intrigued by your name...Kurznotiert? Is it german for something, or what?

  • @onin198 there is more than one keyboard layout in the world, this a German Quertz-Layout

  • i just wondering the letter Z was on the top beside the letter T?

supposed to be beside letter X... why the X and Y are not on the right place like the keyboard of a computer? thank you.

  • @onin198 there is more than one keyboard layout in the world, this a German Quertz-Layout

  • What's the difference between the RIM Curve 8900 and the Curve 8900? Are they actually different models? Really confused as I'm looking at buying the Curve 8900 but most of the reviews I've seen talk about RIM...

  • @TattieBojangles1 Just listen to the first seconds of the video, that gives you the answer.

RIM stands for Research In Motion, RIM ist the company behind the brand BlackBerry.

  • @TattieBojangles1 just watch the video, it gives you the answer in the first seconds. RIM is just short for Research In Motion, RIM is the company which produces the BlackBerry. BlackBerry is the brand name but the company name is RIM.

  • @Kurznotiert Hahahaha oh dear, sorry for the stupid question. Thanks for the answer!

  • @Kurznotiert Im confused about the Wi-Fi. DO U need to be connected to wi-fi to get on the internet or is it like an iphone where u can connect from anywhere?

  • @aaron19038 you don't have to be connected via WiFi. If there is no WiFi the internet connection will be established via GPRS or EDGE using the network of your mobile carrier. But you'll need a special BlackBerry plan, because a BlackBerry requires special access point.

  • @TattieBojangles1 Same thing

  • Don't worry about your English, it's great! Amazing review, I'm getting this phone soon, even though it's very old. I want to give it a try! ;]

  • if anybody has a problemm with IT policy massage me..i learned how to fix it no need for downloads

  • Can teens get these kind of smartphones?

  • I kinda prefer the old icons idk it's just me I got used to them. The new ones are boringish

  • Your English is very good. :-) nice video.

  • your english is fantastic! thanks for the review! very helpful!

  • i loveeee thisss phoneeee

  • r the keys backlight?

  • @Th3Ramb0 no, it doesn't have the backlight and i hope RIM would deal with the problem

  • iPod Touch and Blackberry :)

  • @thejoker1210 two completely different devices, that is not really a "or" decision

  • @Kurznotiert.. iphone for the people inlove with multimedia blackberry for more business related work.

  • Keys don't light up at night, thats a very very very big flaw!

  • they do. u just need to change the setting's on it.

  • Ok appreciate it, I heard it doesnt, but im finnu get this phone soon, and if I cant figure it out ill get back atcha!

  • The iphone is 3g. and the blackberry 8900 isn't. u should really say that before u say the iphone is faster. and i just bought the 8900 and i found it very better then the iphone imo.

  • @greekgino68 the speed test was made using WiFi!

  • @Kurznotiert Mine is on wifi also and the blackberry runs faster the the iphone 3g & 3gs

  • @Dimescream: the 8520 ! the trackpad in my opinion is better than the trackball , and the media keys are really useful too .

  • your accent isnt bad your english is pretty well actually

  • fuckin nice

  • I'm on the verge of getting this one. Which phone do you think is better, the 8900 or 8250?

  • @Dimescream get the 8900!

  • @Kurznotiert - Thanks buddy. Will the trackball be a problem since the space around is not much?

  • @Dimescream no

  • @Kurznotiert

Hello Buddy. I searched about the blackberry curve 8900 and it said the micro SD could be up to 16 GB's

  • @iPastrolito thank you, you are right. I did this review over 1 year ago at that time there were no 16 GB cards afaik

  • @Kurznotiert dang, i didn't know that man..

  • @unclemark9

    LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL HAHAHAH JOWKER

  • This will work on any contract right?

  • @8TomArmstrong i'm not sure but I'm getting this phone soon from e2save website on orange, i think its about 400 minutes, unlimited texts and email. I've seen it on t-mobile and i know 3 does a few blackberrys but not sure about this one. if theres one going on vodafone then it would be good because they have great signal in most places but the problem is they dont usually have too many good deals (in my opinion), 3 has decent deals but sometimes bad signal. I hope this helped :)

  • dude seriously, you sound like your describing a nuclear weapon no offense. and nice review

  • WY fi???? xD i like your accent man, no offense

  • Very nice review! I'd say you speak great English though!

  • i have the blackberry storm 2. love it love it love it. its sooooooooo much better than the storm 1

  • yes, that is a good review , I think you are pretty good in English , It kinda cute for apologize the first..:)

by the way I am interesting in Blackberry curve 8900, I will find more information about that again..Thank you

  • The Blackberry Bold 9700 is out now...I would look into that phone first. They use a track pad vs the track ball...much better design in my opinion. The track ball will wear out with time...just FYI.

  • I'm confused..so if you have this phone with a regular phone plan EXCLUDING internet.. you will only be able to go on the internet at Wifi Areas?

  • Yes, a BlackBerry requires a special BB plan which includes the BIS (BlackBerry internet service) or BES (BlackBerry enterprise server). That is because the whole concept of the device is focused on minimizing data traffic and securing the connections by using special servers.

  • So when I buy this phone, I need to buy a specific BlackBerry Service plan which includes talking and texting. And I'm all set? The phone will be just like a regular phone but I will have access to ONLY WIFI areas?

  • Your english is good.

  • what device is better the blackberry 8900 curve or the 5820 curve

  • 8900. i fucking love mine.

  • your english in good friend. i have the 8900 i like it. only trouble i have is the media player, when playing videos it works only for 10, 20, or 30 seconds then stops and reboots the whole device. thanks for your great review

  • whoa mine doesnt do that. ya might wanna get that checked out if you watch alot of videos

  • Good review m8.

  • hey man your english is good

i wish could speak 2 languages so well great job man and good video

  • handles Micro SD up to 16 GB

  • great review

  • Kurznotiert, great and helpful video. I'm in Mexico, and I'm deciding buy a BB Curve 8900 or a Nokia E71 or 75. How long does the BB's batery last? I have a HP's IPAQ (I buy it on 2006, and not known the model), that is also mobile phone, but as I use so much wi-fi, my batery last one day or less. So I want to change it by the best I can get. Advice me. Sorry for my mistakes, I am not a native english speaker as well.

  • how to use the internet after connecting to the router ?

  • cool video

  • Just to point out a correction: you can now put a Micro SD up to 16gb, not 8gb like he mentioned in the video :)

  • i dont care what people say i still love my BB curve

  • great video and dont worry about the english you did great.

  • can someone please tell me if this phone is a good phone

  • I think it's a great phone. My wife and I got ours for free (THANK YOU RADIO SHACK!!!!). We both love them and will keep tem for as long as we can.

Word of warning, though. The light on the back that's used for the camera flash is EXTREMELY bright. That sucker will light up a pitch black room, lol. So don't take pictures so close to your face if you're in low lighting...I made that mistake and saw spots for 3 minutes straight, lol.

  • im selling mine for 250 see the info in my video

  • Dude, you should not get the storm! The whole attraction of the blackberry is the buttons in my opinion and that is something the storm dont have!!!

Im getting my blackberry on Monday.. I will do a review when i get it ;) xx
