im sorry, i made this movie a long time ago - for a class my senior year in high school. Id fail in college with a video like this and no sources.....
Keep in mind that it is also not very difficult ot make fuel from Kudzu. There is a man in Chattanooga, TN who distills kudzu mash (similar process to making moonshine) into Ethanol! Also, a group at GA Tech figured out how to produce fuel from Kudzu some 30 years ago. This crop should be a very good choice for biofuels. It also happens to contain a high sugar and starch conctent. Rather than trying to kill the stuff lets use some of it to help substitute our addiction for petroleum.
i love kudzu its the best plant in the world i think. I make jelly with the blossoms. It tastes awesome. The whole plant is edible...as you probably all ready know. The root is dried and used as a starch or thickener. The leaves taste like green bean, the root tastes like sweet potato. the root is also made into to pills to destroy thirst for alcohol.
Quite interesting. I remember seeing a docu about this plant in the 80's. I never knew that there were so many uses for this plant. I don't think we have this in Germany. Our Nr.1 Plant or Crop would be Rape Seed. It's used for cooking oil and fuel and many other things.

Kudzu is a very beautiful plant, even if it is invasive. Thank you veronicastringer, for putting this together.
Those who enjoyed this slideshow may like to see my own, which can be seen by clicking my name, and selecting "The Beauty of Kudzu."
