Everyone here completely missed the 80s. Being unique is more important than being "pretty". No, I don't think she's particularly good looking, but so what, most people aren't. Big names back in the day like bowie, boy george and annie lennox weren't classically beautiful either, but they had an interesting look and stood for something cool. This generation has such a conservative and stereotypical view of gender roles, its ridiculous. The status quo needs to be challenged all over again.
