i dont think he changed much to me I see age and vitiligo and his nose was done so what its his and he didnt make it small on purpose he had Lupus so the tissue was not healing properly after his first nose job he had breathing problems. His face looks worse in that 2003 photo because of stress and when he is stressed he soes not eat I am like that thus his sunken cheeks and his face looks hollow and i dont know if that photo was doctored by the media later pics of him he looked good to me ok.

Yes, your whole skin color can change due to a disease called Vitiligo. Michael had Universal Vitiligo which destroys nearly or ALL skin pigmentation. In pictures of him you still see dark blotches/patches.

skin is also very thin and pulled tight. not to mention cartridge is removed all over his face as is fat and possibly muscle.
He is alot thinner to. Michael wouldnt have looked that bad if he had just gained a bit of weight. His face probably would have normalized out and repaired itself. problem was Michael never really did ad he kept on having surgery up until he died.

One picture is taken closer than the other. he changed alot. different eyes, nose, lips jaws, eyebrowls and skin tone. Upper cheeks were ground down. Chin cleft (cant see due to lightening) ect probably more too

this confirms what I always thought. The only things he repeatedly got surgery on were his nose and that sometimes there sometimes not dimple in his chin. So when he told Oprah it was only two things, he was stretching the truth quite a bit but not exactly lying.

He didn't really change that much. At least not as much as people seem to think. Yes, he had light skin because of the vitiligo, he admitted to at least 2 nose jobs and having a cleft put in his chin. But think about it, he was 5'11" tall and only weighed 125lbs at the most. He lost a lot of weight over the years trying to keep a dancers body. Thus you have the sunken cheek look which made his cheekbones more prominent. Plus he had lupus. Which is a very painful disease.

Mike had vitiligo, that explains the skin tone change (it kills the melanin/pigmentation in the skin). He tried using dark make-up to cover it initially, then the blotching progressed to where he'd have to wear full body make-up to cover it. The autopsy report confirmed this, so those thinking he lied about it are full of shit. As for the surgeries, that's a no-brainer and obvious. He had his nose and chin worked on the most. His eyes and cheekbones were always that beautiful.
I'm a massive MJ fan from back in the day. 1983 is too late to make the comparison, the major rhinoplasty, cheek implants and chin cleft are already done. 1978-2003 would give you a better idea.

When we get older our facial structures change and while I can't speak for Michael, I can speak for myself when I look at pictures of me at 16 or 17, and look at pictures of me at the age of 29. I see a huge change in my facial structures based on age alone. And I haven't had any facial surgeries.

A cleft chin he flat out admitted to and two nose jobs that he admitted to. Because of the extensive damage that the vitiligo did he had to use make-up to even out his skin tone. In order for it to not completely be obvious he would've had to been covered in full body make-up.
He really didn't change that much. When you add in diet, aging, stress, and make-up it would make anyone look different. Prince doesn't look anything like he did in the 80's, don't see anyone on his case.

It started with her hands, than her face and now it spread to the rest of her body. She covers up by wearing long sleeve and lots of makeup. Her doctors told her the reason why she development Vitiligo was due to her depression. This disease can ran in the family or not.

It can be hereditary, but in your Aunt's case, it was a random genetic mutation, and she has my respect for dealing with such a drastic looking disease, especially for a woman. My goes out to her for dealing with it. I have never heard of a psychological issue causing an epidermal defect, besides achne or bags around the eyes. I am pretty sure your aunt just had an unfortunate gene structure

He is alot thinner to. Michael wouldnt have looked that bad if he had just gained a bit of weight. His face probably would have normalized out and repaired itself. problem was Michael never really did ad he kept on having surgery up until he died.
michael looked amazing when he died for what he did look like. His face according to his dermatologist was being repaired.

plus, I think the nose getting so small really distorts his face, so it seems like he's changed a lot more. His nose being disproportionally small makes other features like his cheekbones and jaw seem more prominent. That and the eye makeup was a bad decision....honestly though I would say he was quite attractive despite the nose thing until the 2000s, which would mean he was sexy for 80% of his life despite himself. I just wish he would have seen that and left perfection alone.

He didn't really change that much. At least not as much as people seem to think. Yes, he had light skin because of the vitiligo, he admitted to at least 2 nose jobs and having a cleft put in his chin. But think about it, he was 5'11" tall and only weighed 125lbs at the most. He lost a lot of weight over the years trying to keep a dancers body. Thus you have the sunken cheek look which made his cheekbones more prominent. Plus he had lupus. Which is a very painful disease.

Mike had vitiligo, that explains the skin tone change (it kills the melanin/pigmentation in the skin). He tried using dark make-up to cover it initially, then the blotching progressed to where he'd have to wear full body make-up to cover it. The autopsy report confirmed this, so those thinking he lied about it are full of shit. As for the surgeries, that's a no-brainer and obvious. He had his nose and chin worked on the most. His eyes and cheekbones were always that beautiful.

Also people refuse to take into account his vitligo. I think someone needs to photoshop brown/black skin on MJ with his vitiligo and you'll see he didn't change that much.
When we get older our facial structures change and while I can't speak for Michael, I can speak for myself when I look at pictures of me at 16 or 17, and look at pictures of me at the age of 29. I see a huge change in my facial structures based on age alone. And I haven't had any facial surgeries.

A cleft chin he flat out admitted to and two nose jobs that he admitted to. Because of the extensive damage that the vitiligo did he had to use make-up to even out his skin tone. In order for it to not completely be obvious he would've had to been covered in full body make-up.
He really didn't change that much. When you add in diet, aging, stress, and make-up it would make anyone look different. Prince doesn't look anything like he did in the 80's, don't see anyone on his case.

It started with her hands, than her face and now it spread to the rest of her body. She covers up by wearing long sleeve and lots of makeup. Her doctors told her the reason why she development Vitiligo was due to her depression. This disease can ran in the family or not.

My goes out to her for dealing with it. I have never heard of a psychological issue causing an epidermal defect, besides achne or bags around the eyes. I am pretty sure your aunt just had an unfortunate gene structure

@Rshimy When I asked my mom how her sister got Vitiligo she said depression and I was shocked cause I never knew depression could cause vitiligo, this is very rare. We learn something knew every day. Have a great day :)

1) His autopsy proved he didn't have skin bleaching products. I also pointed out Sammy Sosa using actual skin bleaching and you ignored it. There is no skin bleaching products that makes a person that pale.
2) He admitted to having two nose surgeries, so what?
3) Hair straightened had to do with him wearing wigs due to the accident filming the Pepsi Commercial.
4) Seeing as Prince has vitiligo that pretty much proves that they're his kids.

Africans aren't more susceptable. about 1-2 in 100 PEOPLE will get it. Vitiligo is the destruction of melanocytes, responsible for skin color. He did bleach his skin (i know you hate to think wrong about your idol), but ask any dermatologist:Universal Vitiligo NEVER, EVER covers 100 percent of the skin. Go to doctor4help.blogspot :What michael doesn't have-vitiligo. So now that you know you were wrong, ask yourself what else should be investigated before stating an opinion?

Oh please, the disease itself is found in African Americans and the research has proven this. Sure others have it, but it's primarily found in African Americans. You do realize his autopsy proves he had the disease and that he didn't bleach his skin right? Several dermatologists have confirmed that Michael had vitiligo.
I'm just reporting the facts. You read what you want. But I read independent information that isn't filtered by sensationalism.

Universal vitiligo is defined as the advanced stage of the disease that DESTROYS ALL or nearly ALL of skin pigmentation. That is what Michael had. There is no skin bleaching products that would turn ANYONE that white and you know it.
But for arguments sake say if he did bleach his skin. So what? It's not my business, not your business, or anyones business. Seeing as he didn't bleach his skin and it was proven by several doctors, his autopsy, and etc.

Vitiligo. In: Wolff K, et al. Fitzpatrick's Dermatology in General Medicine. 7th ed. New York, N.Y.: McGraw-Hill Professional; 2007. As I stated before, there has NEVER been a case of vitiligo encompassing the entire body 100 percent. He bleached his skin, I'm not going to argue with you about this

How am I making up anything? I actually RESEARCHED this info and PLENTY of pictures from independent sources indicate that not only did Michael NOT bleach his skin, but you still see blotches of his previous skin color on him. How in the world would I make that up? Universal Vitiligo is where it nearly destroys OR completely removes all skin pigmentation.
There is no skin bleaching products that turn a person that white. We'll keep arguing until you provide actual facts.

The fact that Michael's son has vitiligo is proof that not only are you a liar and intentionally try to mislead people with lies, it just destroys your argument that Michael didn't bleach his skin. Now Sammy Sosa bleached his skin and he's not that white either, so again, you mind pointing out FACTS and not opinions. :)

@LastSunrise1981 I don`t think he changed that much either, he had vitiligo which changes everything and he was 50. Its bad enough when we get a zit and everybody notices it, imagine how he felt knowing the whole world was watching him and picking on him for every move he made. That`s too much pressure for anyone to handle.
