a ram is a ram but any diesel can out run any gas when its stock the compression ratio is so much bigger on a diesel its crazy a diesel is ment for power its got more possible hp the more money you put in it just like anything else the hemis are good but cummins is better

i thought diesel trucks were slow, i mean i know with a chip it helps it out some but i have a 2dr hemi slt and its really fast stock 0-60 in about 5.7-6.0 seconds
That truck is mine...what night was this filmed? I'm thinking last October, at New England Dragway, towards the end of the month. Truck has a single turbo, has been dynoed at 531 HP at the rear wheels.
The owner said he'd done some things to it to bring it up to 450 hp and 922 lb-ft at the wheels... before he put in a new turbo. So it makes sense, given the ETA and trap speed, that this thing is over 500 hp at this point. He launched it in 4WD, otherwise he would've had the same problems as the Mustang off the line.
That Ram is far from stock. Trust me, it has more than a modded chip lol. More than likely, it has a twin turbo setup, torque converter, tranny work, high horsepower injectors, and eithe propane, nos, or methanol injection.
