You're brilliant! That was so helpful! I was so confused when someone told me the ridges count as two. I was working on a project with stripes throughout and for the life of me could NOT figure out how to count 6 rows. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Thank you for this video. I have had a project on needles for over a year because I lost the paper that I was keeping track of my rows on. Now I know how to count them, and I know where I am at in the pattern. :) Now I can continue and finish. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for using big yarn I am currently making a sweater and I am suppose to switch colours and purl stich every 16 rows but I did 24 according to your couting technique. so my finished product will have 4 more rows then the pattern says.
