  • Pregnancy update please! =)

  • bonsai tree is awesome!! bonsai decorate like a Christmas tree is the coolest Christmas tree ever!

  • Thanks for sharing your decorations. I love seeing other peoples' christmas trees and decorations in their homes! Your tree is pretty and I love the wrapping paper on the presents!

  • so pretty

  • Merry Christmas!!! I love watching your videos. That picture near the garland windowsill area would be really cute if you wrapped the picture on the wall as if it were a present, and just rehang it. It's a cheap way to add something special to your walls with out swapping your wall art with separate holiday pictures :-)

  • my dad's house (my childhood home) has the same marble panelling in the bathroom hahahah

  • Our tree has white AND colored on it haha I got tired of just the white pre-lit tree look. We found this AWESOME set of 6 old school wooden ornaments with scenes on them at a random discount gift shop in one of my favorite beach cities in california (where I live) Pacifica this year and I was super excited to put them on the tree this year they remind my Mom of her childhood haha :)

  • One thing I like to do is fill a tall, clear cylindrical vase with different sized, but similar coloured baubles. I have some really big baubles that just make the Christmas tree branch droop funny because they're so heavy so they work great in the vase : )

  • Have you joined pinterest? I love it! It really gets my creative mind going! they have lots of DYI projects/ideas.

  • we have those random hooks on the ceiling too my mom hangs plants from them

  • those bars from the lights are called a lens flare...idk how to fix it though...maybe a filter? or just play around with the settings

  • Elf on the shelf :) You can tell you child the story once he or she is born. It's a cute tradition!

  • Love the tree with colored lights and random ornaments. That's how our tree was when growing up as well.. :)

  • That's my kind of tree! I love to throw on all of the ones I've had since childhood. People would probably think it looks tacky but it makes me so happy! I also love the themed trees but they're not for me, I love the bright lights and the tons of ornaments. I was just thinking about going to Goodwill and look for more ornaments (to procrastinate studying for finals.) I was trying to talk myself out of it. This didn't help >:)

  • Everything is lovely, i love the pastries your Mum made, what nice things to pass on to your children!!

  • are you still living in the "haunted house?" if you are, can you please do an update video on it? I find it very interesting and im pretty sure a lot of people think so as well :)

  • @pncessbri I am, but nothing has happened in a long time. Although I didn't feel like it was going to hurt me, I got sick of being scared. One day I spent hours smudging and letting it know it wasn't welcome here anymore. We've been at peace since, and I honestly hope it stays that way.

  • Love it!! I tried to do a vid last year, but it was just too dark! :0( Ended up just taking pics & making a slide show vid! LOL Well, YOU gave me some ideas! I usually only dec. my living room, but now I might move some stuff to a thing I have on the wall in my dining room & put a few things on the shelves in my bathroom! :0) Once I get my tree, which will hopefully be this weekend, I'm going to try & do a vid again, this year! Thanks for sharing with us, Aimee! Oh, LOVE your mom's "pastries"!

  • I am surprised that you decorate and celebrate Christmas since you are a non-believer.

  • @MsNannynet I was thinking that too.

  • @MsNannynet Hubby and I both respect it as a family tradition. For me, Yule also takes place at the same time which some Christmas traditions originally stemmed from. It's just a happy time for us. I think a lot of people celebrate the spirit of Christmas, closeness with family and friends, charity, and giving without needing to be deeply connected to the religious side. At least that's true for us and some of our family and friends as well.

  • Do you think your mom could do a tutorial on those ornament things she made? I love them and would love to make some myself.

  • @MommyReporter I know she's camera shy, but I'll ask her. I'll tell her she wouldn't have to show her face if she didn't want to lol.

  • I liked seeing your decorations! One of my traditions has been to buy my daughters a new Christmas ornament every year. I started with their first Christmas and still keep it up now that they are all adults. When they began to move out of the house, they had a nice box of their own ornaments to decorate their first tree with!! They love the tradition. I always let them open their ornament on Christmas eve and I try to find ones that correspond with their interests that particular year.

  • @passionknitgirl My parents bought me an ornament every year too, but they didn't think to write the date on them lol.

  • Yay I loved it

  • Thanks for sharing. Your child is going to love your home at Christmas.....and any other time. Hope you are feeling well. XO~~Di

  • @ladidi5222 Thanks Di!

  • Do you have a Facebook page .... Like a public one for your YouTube friends to add you :)

  • @drpeppercey68 Nope, I can't decide if I need one or not lol.

  • Who the fuck disliked this? Freaks.

    Love the decorations!

  • I have some of the oddest German ornaments and I have no idea what some of them are supposed to be. Others are cute felt ones that my mom made.

  • Oh memories! I love it!! :-)

  • I love the hard wood floors and the dark wood doors and bricks! Beautiful! Thanks for sharing.

  • @cutemoos Thanks!

  • i have never seen the ornaments that you stick the lights in! that is so cool! (: I have a mini tree in my room and i have been loving it!

  • I love your vintage ornaments :) I haven't been lucky enough to find any yet on my thrifting adventures. Lol

  • @BlackoutBlonde Keep looking, they're bound to turn up.

  • i have tons of my great grandma's ornaments and other older ones that i put on one treeand i put new ones on another newer tree

  • You can totally put white lights on that fake tree and leave them year round!! It would look nice !!

  • i loved it :)

  • Wow your mom makes beautiful things!

  • @guzelkiz0216 Thank you!

  • HAHA the story about the bonsai. It turned out cute though! I love your vintage ornaments!! This video was fun, thanks! :)

  • @ModernWife haha boys are weird =)

  • ps. you should try your hand at some homemade wreaths. I recently made one out of wire hangers & dollar store ornaments. easy peasy! ;)

  • @Franchescalifornia I've been really wanting to make one, I should just dive in and try it.

  • What a cute house! I think you & I would get along just fine, especially for 2 reasons: thrifting & Martha Stewart! I spotted your Everyday Food Magazines, aren't they the best?! I love that I can carry them with in my purse. & I love going to thrift stores for glassware especially....I have begun a hoard on milkglass recently, lol. I admire that you hold you mom's creations so dear..it'll be something special to pass onto your children. Merry Christmas to you!

  • @Franchescalifornia I make so many dinners from those Everyday Food magazines! I love them to pieces. If I'd have gotten closer you'd see tons of writing on the spines, I abbreviate the name of the dish and page number on the colored spaces so I can find my most used recipes easier.

  • Loved ur decorations. Its beautiful. Love xmas! =) btw is this ur new place? Or r u still at the other house? The one with the haunting? The brick walls look similar.

  • @p3achy84 This is the same house. We haven't had any activity for a long time though.

  • I want those Harry Potter ornament thingies. haha

  • @3m0g33k Their package is like a book, you open it up and they're inside along with a scroll tied with ribbon. I can't remember what's on the scroll though, or maybe I've never unrolled it lol. Hubby was/still is really into Harry Potter, back when it first came out there was all sorts merchandise to buy, he has other random things I bought him years ago.

  • @glintzy That sounds so cool! I have a few unique things that came out around the time the first movie came out, but unfortunately I didn't really get into the series until that movie, after it was already out on VHS/DVD (wow it's old) so I missed out on a lot of stuff. Love the books and movies now and have for almost 10 years. It's a shame I couldn't get more swag lol. And now I'm rambling.

  • Hi! New to your videos. You have a very sweet personality. Beautiful home and decor=-)

  • @kaylynne01 Welcome to my channel =) and thanks!

  • muy bonita decoración, me encanta ver tus videos!! :)
