I don't follow Crowley, though I did, but freewilliam93 is right. Crowley specified that you must search what he called the "True Will", which was not meant to be any kind of wish.

Actually if someone is standing in your way or trying to take you off course of your true will then you would be justified in removing that obstacle from your path even if it meant harming that person!

You seem to be refering to a type of person that exists only within the roles of big screen villains. And if you were to find a real life situation that you could apply this to, then it suggests more that you're mentally ill than that someone is "standing in your way".

I never claimed to be a thelemite - this video (which is four years old, by the way) was uploaded as an expression of my disgust with Christianity and the fact people still take it seriously in this day and age, and included a sentiment from Crowley that I agreed with.

I find it highly amusing that you come here bashing those that are bound with Theism whilst you yourself live your life by holy books. Unlike you, I am capable of making my own observations, judgements and opinions on this life

Thelema states that every living being, from the highest deity down to the humblest blade of grass, has one unique function in the universe (their "True Will"). The more one sticks to ones True Will, the more one succeeds and fulfils ones destiny. If one wanders from it, either because one doesn't understand it, or is forced to do so, one gets at odds with the order of things, and suffers consequently. So that the only sensible, righteous and correct rule of life amounts to "Do what thou wilt".
