The myrmidon is still one of the best pvp battlecruisers there is, I still use it as my prime choice. Don't expect to be flying it without a crap load of skills first, as well as several 10's of millions to fit it.
Hi there. I'm a new player to Eve and i'd like to know if Myrmidon is still a decend vessel, because this video and Eve gameplay videos overall are all kinda old so thing's could have changed. And thank's if some one is kind enough to help me out.
@karhyy I haven't played in a while but I believe the Myrmidon is still a very viable ship to use in PVP. If you're newer though, I suggest you fly frigates first, as they're an inexpensive way of learning the ropes.
@shayour I had a scram and a disruptor on that fit. The Drake was still scrammed that's why he couldn't warp. As for why I bothered to turn off the disruptor? I don't remember, that fight was almost 2 years ago.

Meeeeh, u have no slave omega which means ur spending 1,5 bill in implants so u can make ur buffer myrm work, DUDE, just saying even if u dont play on the char anymore or already know this if ur gonna utilize slaves, get a cane. Or even better a typhoon or abaddon. Buffer myrm is fail and those small guns should be switched for medium ac's (like the guy below me says) or noses/neuts (DONT MIX.)

@mygameyourgame I haven't been playing recently so I'll give you a quick written tun-down here.
Highs: Medium energy Nosferatu and 5 Light neutron blasters (the largest of the frigate sized ones)
Mids: Microwarpdrive, Warp Disruptor, Warp Scrambler, Stasis Webifier and the last slot I would fit for the situation, usually ECCM or a tracking disruptor.
@PUPP3TMA5T3R You might wanna try skilling up on cap skills and fitting on some cruiser sized blasters (Medium Blasters) and see if that helps you're DPS while remaining cap stable.
@PivotRedAce I no longer own this character, but cap skills were perfect (or nearly so) that wasn't the issue at all. The problem is fitting; even with electrons, it doesn't work with that tank.
Lows: Damage Control Unit, 3 energized adaptive nano membranes (2 eanm's and an active explosive hardener works well too) and 2 1600mm rolled tungsten plates.
Rigs: 3 trimarks.
Keep in mind this is all before the last expansion, I haven't tried the fit since then although I would imagine it still performs pretty well.

Usually he loses his ship though.My favorite was when he and his friends went GCC on me at a gate, 2 Drakes and a Scorp (at range) against my Myrm. The 2 Drakes ended up deaggroing and jumping to high sec to die to concord to get away from me ;)

You are pretty good....but have terrible taste in music. The first song is just too loud and obnoxious. The second one just sucks. I've noticed a lot of Eve players listen to metal and crap music. Im ashamed. Cool kills though.
