Please remove this video. It is a total misunderstanding of Paulo Freire's concept of the banking model of education. Freire asserted that the traditional model of education treated the learner as a passive receptacle into which "knowledge" was deposited by an "expert". Freire's view was that we each have knowledge to share and can learn from each other in a dynamic, interactive way. Liberatory education is about questioning, decoding, and naming one's sociopolitical reality.

@jonyfitsperfect Somehow I don't see the use of the term "dumbass" used in the same context as Freire, who was definitely about respectful engagement and dialogue, not disparagement. I do agree with the rest of your comments.
