  • Does anyone know the flammability rating of this? We live in a high bushfire risk area.

  • @etmax1 I didn't ask the rep, but I found this in a San Diego (CA) magazine: "Perform Wall has a four-hour fire rating, making is superior to wood-framed walls, which have a one-hour rating. 'After four hours, they stopped the test. No smoke or flames had spread,' said Wade Vernon of PW Sales and Consulting, marketing director for Perform Wall". Or you could try to ask directly if you go to the original article on our site (link in info for video), you will find a link to the company website.

  • @faircompanies Thank you very much. I was considering Zego Blocks for our new house (Polystyrene), but after the major bush fires last year I got worried. This looks like a good alternative.

  • @etmax1 I'm not an expert in this area (I just shot the video), but I believe that with both Zego Blocks and Perform Wall, you'd be using ICF (insulated concrete forms) made of polystyrene (I used the more colloquial term styrofoam- Dow's brand name- in the title). I couldn't tell you how the two brands differ beyond that I don't believe Zego uses recycled material.

  • Doesnt styrofoam make u sick?

  • lol
