Beth has been committing crimes here in the piney woods of east Texas for decades. Not brilliant crimes but goofy stuff, mostly against friends, lovers and relatives. Fraud, assault, battery, theft, conversion, breach of contract, DUI, unlicensed driving, that kind of hoohah. And even tho Beth has done a stint in the Big House (State Pen), I doubt she'll have much trouble continuing her crime spree.

I moved here 3 years ago when Beth beat up momma so bad that the cops HAD to arrest her, but momma bailed her out. Then momma called me in Los Angeles asking me to come because she was afraid Beth was going to kill her next time. So I'm here as security. Soon as momma dies, I'm going back to Callie. Have a place to stay there and some job leads. My bank acct is still there as is my heart.
