@chgotbanned there are good cymbals in sabian and there are bad cymbals in sabian, check out the vault series,aax,hhx,and aa. btw did you know that the rev used sabian? and meinl has some pretty sucky cymbals too so dont bash. they both have good and bad cymbals.

@mobilemofo Guessing you mean the sort of low and fat sound with the short sustain and reduced overtones? Get some 2-ply heads and moongel, and some tuning tutorials. I recommend Evans G2s or Aquarian Performance IIs. Get those on the kit and tune it up and they'll be sounding great in no time!

Sick kit. One tip. I suggest a clamp for the hi-hat for mounting to your left kick drum. You can get the hi-hat directly next to you left pedal. Easies playing a bit. Otherwise, a really cool kit.
