Hey guys! Been following you for a while now and decided that I'd get a reptile, but before getting one I wanna make sure I get the right tank.. Thinking about getting the bearded dragon, which I assume requires UV lights aswell? How many liters you recommend the tank is, for the reptile to live a very happy life? I live in england but I absulutely love reptiles but i need to convince my mum that a bearded dragonis a good pet.

Also my brother didn't wash his hands after handling a tortoise and scratched his chest and it went all red, it is not an allergic reaction but it added on to the doubt i have on now getting a reptile.

Also, the final thing, I cannot find anywhere in england were they display or sell crocodile skinks; it is a real disapointment.

this question is really important. my mom doesn't like going to reptile expos because she starts to buy everything, so do you have to be 18+ or have an adult with you at an expo to purchase an animal because i know most stores require this.

@globefbs not sure what shows you are going to but the answer to this is generally no. the only time age requirement usually comes into play is when buying venomous snakes. i know in some states you have to be over 18. But as far as geckos, snakes and so on, the answer is no

A lot of people can't afford to care for reptiles, some can't care for them at all. And, some people could have certain immunity-compromising illnesses (like leukemia) that hinders them from having a reptile.

Beardies are awesome I have an Albino, a Chris Allen Red, a Orange Fire, and a Lemon Fire all they want is to be held they love to climb in my shoulder, they get along great with my dogs, they have really cool ad unique personalities, and they're all around interesting animal that every obsessed herpetologist should own. Wow! finally an episode where chewy doesnt get bit! Right now i live in Michigan as well. The good part is that we dont have to mow grass all year.
