  • that is a snow cave tard

  • @DeadMemory22 I agree with everything but the snow cave part.

  • thats a good idea! i tried to make an igloo but it ended up being a square fort, with no roof

  • @xLaMzHD It takes the right type of snow to make it. Something that is too powdery won't work.

  • Gay gay gay gay first of all your gay second of all it's not a real igloo your supposed to make blocks of snow you cheater third your gay fourth u wud shovel your front yard fifth your gay sixth you have no life and it's not even a real igloo and your gay seventh your gay eighth you only build a quarter of it because it was against a fence ninth your gay tenth get off of YouTube you cheating muddafucking basterd no jk great igloo

  • @bsktbllshotz It's always refreshing to get honest constructive criticism. Thanks!

  • that is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • @qwakerman You are awesome!

  • your hands look cold

  • @tahishiem1234 but my heart is warm

  • @Skater9358 Thanks!

  • That isnt the best way to make in igloo. This is how. I uploaded a video of me and my friends igloo that we made. We made it by getting a rectangular shaped boxes, fill them up with snow, then put them on an empty space, then we carry on until we make a circle, then we piled them ontop of eachother and we made an igloo. Thats the best way, make sure you push the snow really hard in the boxes to they crush together

  • @TomAss127 Is there a roof for your igloo?

  • @TomAss127 ye ye im writing it down ill try this tommorow conzdiring tht im in scotland and the snows like 1 meter

    seriously im trying this thnx

  • im going to make one of these tomorrow. im relying on this video to take me to success!

  • @98reece Be careful and have fun!

  • @AgileHProductions i built it. i think i did quite well

  • @98reece Take a video of it and share.

  • @AgileHProductions

Dude, what do you want with me? Why did you friend request me?

  • @tokyomewmewfan33 I sometimes send friend requests to people who comment on my videos or subscribe because I think they might be interested in some of the videos that I am posting in the future. If you're not interested, then you can just reject it and you will never hear from me again. No big deal. ...and I want to be best friends with you. :)

  • @AgileHProductions i like ur video my friend and me did the aczact same today

  • @AgileHProductions

Best friends? I don't consider random guys on youtube "Best Friends."

  • @tokyomewmewfan33 I'm starting to think this relationship isn't going to work.

  • @AgileHProductions

Oh so that's what you want? Get off youtube and get a life freak!

  • not an igloo but a hole in the pile of snow

  • @piotrak1980 It's a quinzhee.

  • HEYYYYYY I LIVE RIGHT NEXT TO YOU HAHAHAHHAA LIKE THE NEXT BLOCK

  • This was kind of gay but the igloo was cool

  • Not to be a downer, but thats insanely dangerous. That shit will collaps and it would take ages to for any1 to dig u out :/

  • @dodgydogman Dude! You are totally being a downer!

  • @dodgydogman If you let the snow settle and leave the walls at least a foot thick then they are very safe. You could walk on top of it and it wouldn't collapse. I built hundreds of these as a kid and never had them collapse.

  • Cool Video. I stumbled upon this and to be honest couldn't care if you called it a Igloo, Quinzhee or a whatchamecallit. The point is that you had a dream and acted on it and had a good time in the process. You made memories and a guy from Salt Lake City smile and laugh. Who knows maybe I'll have that dream next winter and make a cool video of my memories and make some guy in wherever laugh and smile and make it his dream the following year. All this because you wanted to make an Igloo. NiCE!!!

  • ARE U MAKING SPACE FOR THE ''IGLOO'' ?

  • we got over 1 meter deep snow now :P

  • not an igloo

    its more like a cave

    but cool video though

  • good job any one trying this should be shure it is packed well enuff that it won't callapse but i have done this and made big balls then cut them into flat sheets tha make a igloo ether way its work but well worth doing at least once hehe

  • great vid

  • hmm..

  • Hey dude thanks it helped out alot

  • Sorry, but an igloo is made with bricks of snow. This is a quincy, a hole in a pile of snow.

  • Glad you were not in there when the igloo collapsed. That would of been equivalent to being caught in an avalanche.

A suggestion, would be if you keep this video on YouTube to redo a piece of the audio stating that it is dangerous to do. You might just save someone from injury that wants to copy-cat what you did.

  • That looks dangerous it could collapse on you, am I wrong?

  • "the neigbors have to be wondering what kind of kookie people shovel their yard"

  • And next I will continue to talk in a monotone voice.

  • thanks for the video! I plan on making a igloo this afternoon w our 2.5 ft of snow in ffx, Va

  • @liny2novagrl im there with ya. We got our hefty bunch here in Woodstock. Great for an igloo, sucks for cars lol

  • that igloo sucked. ima make a baltimore igloo and put it on here. show you how its dizzone.

  • Aw guys that looked great! i live in the dmv and were getting like 2ft of snow, i cant wait to try to build one! I hope you guys have fun if you decide to build another one!

  • I make snow blocks to build an igloo

  • I don't wanna say this is an igloo :P

  • where i live all the snow is powder so i cant make one

  • excellent narration of your nice video. my wife and i live in michigan and get 6ft of snow in our yard so no need to work so hard. but she is currently building an igloo of her own. i sometimes build one each winter and spend a night or two in it camping like.

  • Nice igloo.

  • This is a snow cave, not an igloo

  • pppshhhhhhh same diff.....

  • i tried to make my own, but i used the traditional way, slighly altered by using a bread baking tin to shape and compac the snow into a brick like shape, i gave up in the end XD just taking too long

    :D

  • Very creative. Nice work. I didn't realize it works with "warm" snow too.

  • i believe where I live we will be getting a large snow this week. The weather dude said anyway, I want to try this but I might do the block thing like form cartoons and other videos. Still pretty cool.

  • c^mon daz shity work., nothing personal.

  • i got 3 feet

  • i made a real igloo with blocks not just digging in a pile of snow and mine is still up evenfrom the wind

  • @tombradyfan77

well they do live in an area that does not get enough snow to do it that way. also it didnt fail because it was dug out it fail the next day because it was to warm out. just enjoy the video.

  • i got 13 inches

  • we got 7 inches last night where i live

  • @themagicmen1 No-one cares.

  • @jatazla i do

  • i got 28 inches so stfu

  • Just like I was reading a diary. Felt a little warmer inside.

  • this is the dumbest thing i have ever seen - go fuck yourself

  • your an ass. if you don't like it fine but don't be an ass about it.

  • i live in NOVA i remember this storm

  • well take a vacation and on the vid nice speeches

  • I want to build an igloo but no fair cause where I live there is absolutely no snow at all:(

  • I had an Igloo collapse on me at school yesterday :) . I screamed, Everyone in the playground came rushing over to me and unbarried me. It was so fun. lol

  • Thats awesome bro im in reno and we had all this snow so i made and igloo also took like 4 hours but it was fun

  • boring

  • it just looks like a big pile of snow

  • well it's funny remind me that i did shuffle for mine, well i took 3 weeks to do mine but it's a very nice one hope you seen it anaway 35000 people watch it on you tube call buils a igloo without glue i invite you to leave comment on it..well nice work you did you and wife must a be a fun day...

  • It's nice, but it's not an igloo,--it's a quinzhee!

  • I am aware of that now, but if I change the name of the video to "Building a Quinzhee" then nobody will watch it.

  • @AgileHProductions , lol, that's true. You could put "igloo/quinzhee."

Anyway, must've been fun. Too bad it melted. :\

  • your a quinzhee

  • @larsrmc :

    Oh, damn, you caught me!

  • That was the LEAST snowiest winter in the Washington, DC era since 1972-73 and was the only accumulating snowfall that entire winter! People here say "worst winter" in terms of lack of snow amid global warming propaganda.

  • Igloos are made of pack snow or ice. Digging a hole into a pile of ordinary snow is called a Quincy. It's different because a Quincy is a type of structure you build when you're lost in the arctic and need immediate shelter. It's the type of structure a polar bear makes when it Hibernates through the darkest months of winter.

  • lol i love living in alberta, awesome winters

  • im in montreal....me too.....god bless canada

  • nice experience, if only I lived in a country where there's snow ;s

I live in Brazil though I love it

  • i live in oregon and every winter there is more and more snow

  • I live in Montreal canada and two years ago we received 12 feet of snow. I built an igloo in which I could stand and walk in. That winter was awful. My once completly disappeared under the snow.

  • does it snow every year in montreal

i live in tennessee and it will snow like an inch and melt before you can do anything

  • 5*s for the work ethic and effort!

  • it's hard to make igloos in england, so me and a friend made giant snowballs by rolling them around fields for ages and hollowed out the insides =] not alot of room, more a snow tunnel

  • Cool sorry it kinda melted. :(

  • good post!

  • im going up to Minnaral, CA to make a igloo in the winter. ITS GANNA BE SO FUN!!!!!!!!!!

  • awsome!!! i want to make an igloo in

    the winter!!

  • u should be in chicago like me to make a big ass igloo lol!!! last year i was made a igloo and i was sleeping in it for one day!!! in my backyard

  • damn good job kid

  • LOL!

"The neighbors must be wandering what kind of coocy people shovel their yard"!

  • not a igloo thats a snow cave.

  • I agree.

  • i agree 2 ive built a real one b 4

  • true that! thats not a igloo just a pile of snow with an entrance to a little room. igloo is an snow brick layered dome

  • @130ipower dint you see the perentissees around igloo

  • That's funny.

  • i live in snowy village we got lot snow :D LOL XD OMG hold on we got so much snow we got whole village under an igloo XD then it collapsed and everyone died :Dexept me i was buying skittles from a 99 cents store outside village :3

  • this kind of construction is actually referred to as a quinzhee , where you pile snow into a pile and then tunnel it out

  • Totally lame

  • some people made and igloo out side my house today. it only fits small children in it.weve had the worst snow in southen england for 18 years. its only 6inchs deep

  • We Are In The North East Of Scotland ! And We Have Just Had A Small Bit Of Snow 2 Day

  • thats more like a osama binladin snow cave hideout than an igloo but nice...

  • LOL!

  • wow that looks fun and cool!!!

  • Whats with the music dude??

  • This is NOT an igloo. Its a snow tunnel.

  • i like how you presented it...its almsot exam time...but i really wanna build and igloo!!!

    T.T

  • go screw yerself pab

  • mine is so much better (:

  • just to let you know you made more of a quinzee then a igloo but way to go! that took alot of work!

  • 2:22 lol! She is funny :-D!

  • wow, that was deep...(one tear)..

  • Actually, a way I used to employ building a very solid and aesthetically appealing igloo involded the use of the recycle bins you were using to transport the snow. I would compact the snow in the recycle bins using the whole bloc for my foundation and then progressively thinned and shapped the compacted blocks to form my very thick, solid igloo. Technically you built a lean-too snow shelter. Good job though.

  • Haha, nice. I like the Ellington nutcracker suite music!

  • use a snowblower

  • i love winter...it may not be good and warm but hey there is a lot snow can do for people it keeps my busy thats for sure you can't have snow ball fight in the dead of summer so i see winter as a time to have fun building igloos is one of my favorite activities especialy when friends help.

  • That's actually more of a quinzhee than an igloo, but recycling boxes are definitely the key. You probably don't get enough snow for it, but try making it entirely free standing and out of "bricks" next time. Entertaining video though.

  • That's awesome...now I know that shoveling the yard is the key!!!

  • cool

  • congradulations, that was a nice igloo!!! and thanks to you and Crissy(or is it Krissy??)for making a wonderful veido like this !

  • nice 4 stars

  • that was pretty lame

  • Life sure is fun when you live in the Yukon.

  • you know whats funny it i made a BIG BIG one last year in greenland, me and a few of my friends went driving around in green land cuase a freind invited us over. So we go lost one time there and a snow storm started, So we built a quick night shelter but it was snowing again next morning and my friend still had his phone and called in search chopper. we survived 1 week from catching animals, in a big igloo, Ill never forget it, ahh so awesome

  • lol i can image one of you being in there and it fking collapsing lmao u guys suck!

  • good job!

  • its good too see how not one person has left a negative comment

  • im making an igloo out of crab sticks :)

  • lol

  • COOL

  • igloo/cave! nice.. Now come to Eatern Canada and you can build a giantic one.

(Check out the ice hotel in Quebec. It's awesome)

  • that was cool

  • That's nice. I live in Texas, I've never really seen snow you can do stuff with. Kinda neat. We just get sleet sometimes and you can make a basketball size snowman if you're lucky. Well, he's more like an Icey Blob, buy it makes the kids happy.

  • image if people were in it and then it just fell...lol...

  • i never get snow were i live

  • garbage video.

  • This guy's voice sounds so dull! Bla Bla Bla Bla is all that I'm getting.

    1 star.

  • Kyle Kimoto and I built an igloo last winter. I was excited enough to get snow, let a lone build a snowman. Even more so, build an igloo.

Good vid though. I visited Utah one winter and it was the same thing. Snow, snow, snow.

  • that must be really hard to do

  • "the memories will last a lifetime."

    yup.

  • thanx that looks very kewl i'll try it

  • ice cave!

  • wow, wonderful documentary. very nice, very nice

  • there's no snow in greece .fuck!!!

  • some wise words at the end there wiseman! LOL!

  • I'm very deep.

Your comments may only be on this page temporarily, but they will stay in my heart forever.

  • lucky you didn't sleep in it at night otherwise they would have had to send in the rescue huskies lol

  • your funny.....shutup

  • Good job on your snow cave. Like others have mentioned, you should really try to build a true IGLOO with blocks. You'll never have to get on your hands and knees, and never feel claustrophobic. Also, it's WAY more efficient, you will only move the snow you need to make the structure. Try it.

  • my friend and I buit one in a different way. We put now in plastig boxes (a bit larger than the size of shoe boxes). Then we turned the boxes upside down and et the snow fall out. Then we had bricks. It's so much easier like that!! You should try it!

  • nice vid

  • Don't try this at home, you may die!

  • How do you make a big pile like that cause you must have did hard work of that. So instead try making blocks out of buckets (square ones or retcangles ones) and start making it inwards until it meets at the top. Then make an entrance. It is kind of hard to explain this but this is much easier than the pile thingy.

  • lol

  • i want to make a snow house this xmas if it snows enough

  • Do you not get snow that often? Where do you live? I moved to Columbus, OH which gets more snow than DC, but not much more.

  • I live in the UK, it does snow but the sun comes out in about 2 days after the snow starts to fall and then the snow just quickly disappears. Only light snow here in Essex.
