Not true. I know alot of white single mothers who get passed over twice of much as black men. mainly because white men have been conquerers for centuries and their arrogance not allowing them to settle for women with depreciated property values. Real talk!!!

Machelle3200, Stop the name-calling. You have a few experiences with Black men, so you lump us all into on category. We are very divers and come in many sizes, shapes, and moral awareness. You have to look at yourself. Think, what good Black man wants to be with a Black woman who thinks white men have more respect for women than Black men.

Machelle3200, Could it be that your problem stems from the fact that you are angry with Black men for the wrong reasons. You have to be wrong if you think all Black men are the way you are describing us. The first thing you have to do is stop following the dogma and find the love for your brothers. We too want to be forgiving for our mistakes, as you want to be forgiven for yours.

Trying to date to marry is hard. Especially when little bastards are present. I find that 90% of single mothers are nasty sluts. Dating to marry with situations like whats going on know is like trying to find ripe fruit in a rotten orchard.

you are a very disrespectful man....and not all single mothers have babies by different men...i'm divorced and i have no reason to be ashamed of my kids...they were created by two people who loved each other at that point and time....and my kids are a reflection of that love.. you are cold hearted person that doesnt deserve ANYONE'S LOVE..

I bet before you had bastards...I bet it was ALOT of good candidates that you passed over to be in the situation your in know..probably because of shallow superficial reasons. NOW THE SHOE IS ON THE OTHER FOOT. You will most likely experience men who will do the same thing to you because in his eyes your property values have depreciated because of kids, stretch marks, c-section scars, drama from daddy, etc.

Furthermore, why can't these single mothers get serious BEFORE they have children? I mean, I believe it's highly unfair for them to expect a man who's coming up that doesn't have children he's raising to just up and accept the children they have due to THEIR slutty, irresponsible behavior. So, indeed, having sexual access to the mother plays a part but there's also the issue of bonding with the woman, the baby's father, and various other variables.

Have you ever thought, through your friendship, a woman could turn her life around, or are you just looking for a quick lay? A man that can learn from a woman and understand her situation will be more receptive to women

I can respect your stance but I have a serious disagreement with the jist of what you're saying. You're contention appears to be that men who don't want to date single mothers are doing it only from a standpoint of not being able to indulge in easy sex. While that may very well be true for alot men, that doesn't tackle the issue in its totality. A man who is looking for SERIOUS commitment shouldn't have to be burden with a woman's child from a previous relationship.

gwynplane723, If a man feels a womans child is a burden, she is not the one for him. If a man opens his eyes and not follow some scripted dogma, he will find the woman for him. That woman will bring him joy in ways nothing else will. If he finds her, with/without children will not be an issue. She will be so important to him he will want to help with all things surrounding her. In fact, he would not want it any other way.
