I don't think they should be banned, but any owners of pitbulls that know their dog may be dangerous around other dogs or people should either keep them leashed/muzzled or behind a fence/in a house. Theres many other dogs that can be people/dog aggressive and the same applied to them. Its because of shit owners letting their dogs loose that I have to resort to getting dogs that are tough enough to hold their own against an attack. I've seen a golden retriever torn apart by a pit, it was so sad.
