What a beautiful narration on the history and ancient heritage of India. When I first listened to this speech it made me inquire into the depth of the subject matter and research if they were facts or just opinion. That enquiry only led to Atma vichara in the end which is beyond all limitations within and without. Seek the truth and it will lead to the right master. My sincere prayers that genuine seekers see the Truth as it was meant by the truest saints on this planet.
I don't mind the history behind the Hindu religion which for many, who might not have their own history quest; would find amusing. But thrashing other countries like Australia shows, the poor state of mind this person has. No man is greater than the other, this applies to countries too. Good and bad blood is everywhere, just like salt and sugar sprinkled on a Thai Soup.
Our dharma is one that represents the spirit of universal love and acceptance of goodness in all as our own in the truest and fullest sense. Our saints esp revered Sri Swamiji is one who personifies just that. As one who has followed Sri Swamiji's teachings for many years I assert that He is an inspiration to many globally cutting across all boundaries by His life of selfless service, simplicity and purity.Let's avoid inaccurate comments that arise from mis- reading things out of context please!
I like his speech very much .. the only thing he could have avoided is degrading another country to praise ours. .. overall , i like his speech about feeling god .. other general speeches , just ignore when i or u don't like

Neither should we try to do so- that is a slippery slope. Let the modern day populace of India be evidence of our greatness, if there be any. We should not have to hark back to 3000 BC for that!
