This technology is very old. nVidia's simply changed something that used to be available to many manufacturers into something that only they can produce (and put a very high price on) by getting rid of their generic 3D drivers. The problem in the old days, even on 120hz, was that it gets irritating after a while... your brain gets annoyed by the constant flickering between eyes, even if it is super fast. Has anyone had experience with using these glasses over an extended period?

I would love to beat first Condemned game with this as the game itself is scary enough to chase the goose skin all over you. But now to the technical question. If I would use this only for movie purposes, does it work with DLP projectors? How much is extra glasses for?Cuz if it doesnt theres no sense of buying this at all as the fact the 3D procejtors OR other "SAME" technologies by another manufacturers comes out a lot cheaper than this set of 120hz TV, Monitor,whatever +3D vision.

It's better when you have a kickass PC and you still can play Metal Gear Solid 4 on your PS3 and Lost Odyssey (for example) on your X360.

Seriously, screw 3D viewed on a screen!!! SD or HD, it's old technology. How about some of these companies start working on 3D HOLOGRAPHIC technology?!? That's clearly the future of entertainment. I'd rather see movies/TV shows ACTUALLY appear in my living room, as opposed to 3D images trying to pop off of a 50" screen at 15 feet away...I'm not impressed.

I don't know wtf guys are talking about.. holographic technology is the next logical progression to traditional 3D on a TV or monitor, and will DEFINITELY be consumer based in the future. There are already a few companies with working prototypes which create holographic images that look like they're really in front of you, so I'm not sure how it's a retarded statement. The problem is that you guys are close-minded -  it IS possible and WILL be a reality before you know it.

The goggles have a little bluetooth button you push on the side. It actually made me kind of dizzy, tbh. Movies like Star Wars looked great but the content they recorded for the demo [guy doing tricks on a bike, especially] was making my eyes bug out.

I think I like the glasses by the Microsoft booth better and there was no need for bluetooth.

thats old tech... i got a pair of eDimensional 3D glasses that do the same job. worked with nvidia on it years back seriously... only prob is it uses a splitter between the graphics card and the monitor, and that splitter is VGA, lol.. so i cant use it with an LCD monitor :(
