I'M A NEW ACOUSTIC ARTIST from mississippi trying to bring back a forgotten style to this new generation. I'm looking for friends and subscribers. I hope you check me out, thanks!
in 1968 Sonny Terry taught me the first song he ever learned - From his grandfather. Almost a proto-blues, sung falsetto (one reason he told me he was a fan of Canned Heat - that time's incarnation of them. "Well, I woke up, in the morning... blue as a man can be.."Well, I woke up, in the morning... blue as a man can be.. Another man had my woman, and you know the blues had me.. then it takes it some where.... all the way in the end to "country hell"
You know, I love Miles, Prez, Monk, Jimmy Yancey, Erroll Garner, Stravinsky, Samuel Barber, Schumann, Scarlatti, Bach & Händel, Johnny Cash, Sam Cooke, Nat King Cole, but the impression this music makes is so strong, it's unbelievable.
Amazing!!! I've never heard someone play the harmonica like that.

Please someone tell me what Blind Boy Fuller has got to do with this recording. This is Sonny Terry accompanied by WOODY GUTHRIE on guitar.
