"Fact" number 1: False. There has been lots of debate amongst Muslims for years on whether or not to interpret the Qur'an literally. Also, it has tons of symbolism.
"Fact" number 2: Misleading. Perhaps it's in there, but many modern Muslim groups fight for the separation of Mosque and state, which by definition prevents Shari'a Law from dominating the globe.
"Fact" number 3: False. Taqiyya exists to protect a Muslim when their life is in danger, NOT to deceive whomever they want.

correction: 1st point about the QURAN mention peace and later violent. well, you got it wrong. the sequence isn't according to time. actually the later part was revealed earlier during the meccan period, whose the audience were the pagan arabs who refused to believe in monotheism even there were clear signs. while the earlier verses was revealed later to the believers during the medina period & mostly about the sharia law.

Well, someone obviously haven't red the Bible... The OT provides "all the laws necessary", and Jesus confirms that they would be actual FOR EVER! The book also orders all kinds of atrocities - and actually, the Koranic view of governing is more democratic than the Biblical...
