Why does everyone ask for taps on chorded songs when the camera is pointing at the players fingers? Can't you tell what he is doing? If you don't know basic chords then I'd start with that first before attempting full songs. Besides, why ask the uploader, just go to a tab site like Ultimate Guitar or something. Every cover same comments, lol

Guitar is not out of tune guys, it is in tune to itself and to the singer, we can see that heis playing a G, but if you play along you will have to play an F#. The whole lot (guitar and voice) has dropped a semi tone.

This usually happens when magnetic tape is involved in the recording.

I suck at transposing on the fly, to play along I have tuned my guitar down by a semi tone.

You would have to play it flat by a semitone.

But you dont want to do that, because it means you will have to play a G flat (or F#) an Eb, B# etc. Which means that you are now transposing, and learning different chords, AND different chord shapes.which defeats the purpose of watching him, the chord shapes, the changes etc. If you want to try; form a G bar chord (his is open), now slide down one fret, you now have an F#. Strum this every time he plays an open G.

im a beginner and using cdd9 for the C sounds pretty similiar, but sounds better with the pure C, harder transition :P, great work
