Everyone in the village lost their homes in the earthquake. This old house here did better than most of the stone houses. After the quake, they made little shelters from the corrugated tin from their roofs. None of the relief organizations are helping Duval. We'd like to help, but how to get materials to the mountains?

1. Befriend someone who speaks the language and urge them to teach you.
2. Volunteer for an NGO in Haiti (best way to learn).
3. Some schools offer cheap night classes (especially in south FL)
4. Buy a haitian creole/english dictionary and books... and listen to haitian radio stations from Haiti (some have online streaming. A quick google search will land quite a few)
If you already know french, you'll pick it up in no time.
