Tthe physics engine in GT Academy is brand new; it wasn't even implemented with the TGS demo. The engine is a vast improvement over prologue's. GT5 will have maybe a few minor improvements to the engine, and of course make it compatible with damage. But it won't be anything drastic.

Because NASCAR takes a lot more strategy and skill than most imagine, tire management, fuel management, pit times, consistent lines and drafting techniques to name a few. Personally i don't like NASCAR but it's intricacies are definitely respectable. WRC all the way though imo though!

it's funny because unlike most races, where a race depends on the driver/co-driver ( if there is one) and the car. Where as in Nascar, nothing would happen without the pit crew. Other than that, everyone knows that it's boring as hell watching cars go in circles for 5 hours. The only to go there now-a-days is to see a spectacular crash, and possibly see a woman get hit in the face by an out of control tire.
