  • Tokyo Joes, Magaluf 1989! Classic. Could play this over and over.

  • Top fuckin house rap tune. Loving this from back then. UK :)

  • @jaysabaii69 Tony Scott is Dutch btw

  • Deep house, sounds like electro house, stll the old school house is way better.

  • one of the best examples of earlier house music

  • Sydney 89 first ever pill - wouldn't change a thing!

  • why do i get the urge to 'shimmy' to this tune.....? Thats how im living! takes me back......

  • classic x

  • nice track always preferred the chief tho. ps wouldnt say it was at the start of the scene im sure this was at its peak start of 1990 just when the original scene was dying - i suppose after 2 years it was all wearing off for a lot of us. remember it more from the pirates as i stopped raving at end of 1989 for a few years

  • @ancientraver19881989

i forgot to say he was a real red indian not just a bit of indian blood but the real full blooded thing i remember a video at the time - how cool is that - he must be the only American Indian pop star ever

  • @ancientraver19881989

He's actually dutch, born in Surinam, but immigated to Holland in his youth ... So red and Indian all right, but not american ;-)

Minor detail though, 2 decades later the song still is f*ing awesome!

  • @marknett that's weird as he even looked like a North American Indian in his video IIRC (but like you say over 2 decades is a long time as I was probably recovering from a rough one when I saw it on the Chart Show or something!). PS well Surinam is in SOUTH America but like you say that's not what I meant - I don't think they had South American Indians! as those with wigwams and Sitting Bull etc!

  • @ancientraver19881989 AND he's Dutch ;) He lives in the Netherlands! Hehe

  • Goeie shit! Was hier echt fan van!

  • mixes perfect with Stevie V's "dirty Cash". try it

  • they sampled quite a bit of the song from stevie V thats why the bassline was mainly samples from stevie V but i absolutely love this song, despite being 13 :) ohwell OLDSCHOOL for life!!!!!!!

  • i'm pretty certain that Tony Scott came out before Stevie V.

I'm sure i had this when i was doing my A levels in the 80s.

    Wasn't Stevie V 90s ?

  • i think stevie V was very late 80s there actually not the same bassline :S my bad for saying that its just

  • Without the pitch ontrol they both have nearly the same BPM

  • Love the way he sampled Reach Out of the Darkness - Friend and Lovers

  • Are you being sarcastic?

Because this is a rely good song and I suppose all people need some inspiration or a base to make there songs on some times.

Does int make the song bad.

  • At the time it seemed like Hip House was the way that things were headed. In retrospect it was just a short phase. Toni Scott and Twin Hype were two of the leading lights.

  • one of the better hip-house tracks from the 1988-1990 era...

    this one is still top-notch!

  • Cracking addition to Youtube - been waiting for this one! Shame about the record jumping a couple of times. Amazingly, the Internet is telling me that Tony Scott is actually a Dutch guy called Peter van der Bosch. Go to discogs and look him up if you don't believe me.

  • Quality tune here, when music has soul unlike some of today's money driven pap.

  • One of the best hip-house tunes of all time!

With this music, Tony Scott shows the maturity, as far right, between the House and Hip-House.
